[[--Episode Four--]]
-------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days’. 📚[Abu Dawud]

Conversely,

Doing wrong in this month, especially to people, increases the degree of sin more than the same act in other months.

Now,

Continuation of episode 1, 2 & 3  - as promised

*Rewarding Act Number 4:* The Sacrifice of Eid (Udhiyyah/Layyah)

The Ud’hiyah (sacrifice on ‘Eid Al-Adhā) is an emphasised Sunnah that is legislated for both men and women ― it is accepted from a man for himself and his household. Likewise, it is accepted from a woman for herself and her household.

And,

The least one should sacrifice is one goat (or sheep or ram) and that will suffice him and his family.

Evidence:

Abu Ayyūb Al-Ansāri (ra) said: *“A man in the time of the Prophet (saw) would sacrifice one sheep for himself and his household ― they would eat from it and feed others.....”* 📚Ibn Mājah, no. 3147

Servants of Allah!

It is allowed for seven families (or seven people) to share in the sacrifice of a cow or camel.

Evidence:

Jābir bin Abdillāh (ra) said that Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) stated:

الْبَقَرَةُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ وَالْجَزُورُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ

“A cow is shared between seven and a camel is shared between seven.” 📚Abu Dāwūd, no. 2808

Furthermore,

The ud’hiyah (sacrifice) is to to be performed on the day of Nahr which is the first day of ‘Eid, 10th of Dhul-Hijjah and on the days of Tashreeq, i.e. 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah. Yes. Any of these days is allowable for sacrifice. And the sacrifice is to be performed every year.

And,

The slaughtering cannot be performed before the Eid prayer.

Evidence:

Bukhāri and Muslim reported from Anas (ra) that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “The one who slaughtered before the ‘Eid prayer, then his sacrifice is not counted, rather it is merely meat that he had offered to his family.”

*The Animals that are acceptable to be sacrificed and their ages:*

The sacrificial animals are not accepted unless they are cattle due to the saying of Allah:

“And for every nation, We have appointed religious ceremonies, that they may mention the name of Allah over the beast of cattle that He has given them for food. And your God is One God (Allah), so you must submit to Him alone. And (O Prophet) give glad tidings to those who obey Allah with humility.” 📚(Al-Hajj: 34)

So,

The cattle are the following animals: *"Camels, cows, sheep and goats"* ― whether male or female, even though the male animal is better as a sacrifice.

As for the ages, then in all categories, the animal should be of Thaniyy age. A Thaniyy animal is one that is old enough to lose its front teeth permanently.

*For a camel:* - (الإبل): Five years old and entered into its sixth year.

*For a cow:* - (البقر): Two years old and entered into its third year.

*Sheep:* - (الضأن): One-year-old and entered into its second year.

*Goat:* - (المعز): One-year-old and entered into its second year.

Now,

*Sharing Formula Of The Meat:*

To be continued

*Share this very write-up to remind others*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...
