*Reasons To Let Go*
[[----------1️⃣-------------]]بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
It is hard sometimes for us to forgive the ones who hurt us, betray us, the ones who break our hearts. This is because, we are often hurt by the people who are closest to us, so it’s natural for the wound to go deeper than the hurt you may endure through a stranger. Largely because you don’t expect hurt to come from their direction.
But,
Forgiveness is not something we do for that particular person who wronged us, No! it is something we do for ourselves so we can move on. Yes. We forgive, not because that person deserve it, but because we deserve peace.
Allah (swt) say:
"Those who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and *who pardon the people who offend them..."* 📚Aal-i-Imraan (3:134)
Now,
Good Reasons To Let Go Those Who Offend You:
*Reason Number 1:*
Allah (swt) will raise your status & remove your sin:📚 *Evidence:*
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Whoever suffers an injury and forgives (the person responsible), Allah (swt) will raise his status to a higher degree and remove one of his sins.” 📚(Tirmidhi)
Slaves of Allah!
Many of us today are reluctant to forgive because it only feels like we’re validating other people’s wrongdoing upon us. But Forgiving people who wronged u is not about validating other people’s wrongdoing upon you. Forgiveness is about *giving yourself permission to let go of the past, to move on from the shackles of pain, and giving that inner space in your heart something more positive* . Yes. I call it shackle because the poison of pain, will only stuck you,, barred your feet from ability to move on to the next better level.
