Alhamdulillah, tayammum is an act of worship one does when he does not have access to water by striking the ground with his palm rubbing his face and hands.

As reported in various hadith,

Narrated `Abdur Rahman bin Abza

A man came to `Umar bin Al-Khattab and said, "I became Junub but no water was available." `Ammar binYasir said to `Umar, "Do you remember that you and I (became Junub while both of us) were together on a journey and you didn't pray but I rolled myself on the ground and prayed? I informed the Prophet (ﷺ) about it and he said, 'It would have been sufficient for you to do like this.' The Prophet then stroked lightly the earth with his hands and then blew off the dust and passed his hands over his face and hands."

Sahih al-Bukhari 338.

One can make tayammum during cold weather or feels if he uses water will fall sick, it is permissible to make tayammum

As reported,

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RAA)::

concerning the man who had a head injury, and then he made Ghusl and died: Allah's Messenger Peace be upon him said, "It would have been enough for him to perform Tayammum and wrapit with something and wipe over the wrapping and wash the rest of his body." [Reported by Abu Da'ud

Bulugh al-Maram 136.

Even if one is in sexual impurity and finds no water or feel he will be harm using water, he can make tayammum until he finds water and bath the ghusl or he becomes well.

Islam is easy religion.
