He had a wet dream during an extremely cold night, and was afraid that if he performed ghusl he would die. He prayed the morning prayer with his companions. He then went to the Prophet (pbuh) to ask him about this. The Prophet (pbuh) said, "O 'Amr, did you pray with your companions while you needed a post-nocturnal bath?" 'Amr mentioned the verse, *"Do not kill yourselves, Allah is merciful to you"* to the Prophet.  FAJR REMINDER: WIPING OVER KHUFFAYN OR JAWRABAYN By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 22, 1448 (4-September-2026) Alḥamdulillāh for the blessing of Islām. Among the many beauties of Islām is the ease that Allāh has placed in acts of worship. Our Sharī‘ah does not place unnecessary hardship upon us; rather, it provides concessions when appropriate. A profound example of this ease is Masḥ (wiping) over Khuffayn or Jawrabayn—leather socks or regular socks. This is an established Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ).  The following are some of the conditions for wiping over leather or regular socks: 1. The socks must be worn while in a state of ritual purity The socks must be put on after performing Wuḍū’ and while one is in a state of purity. Al-Mughīrah Ibn Shu‘bah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated: “I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) on a journey. I bent down to remove his leather socks, so he said: ‘Leave them, for I put them on while I was in a state of purity.’ Then he wiped over them.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī ...

He asked his companions, 'Can I perform tayammum?' They said, 'No, not if you have water.' He performed ghusl and died. When they came to the Prophet (pbuh), they informed him of what had transpired. He said, 'They killed him, Allah will kill them. Do you not ask if you do not know? The rescue of the ignorant person is the question. He could have performed tayammum and dropped water on his wound or wrapped it with something and wipe over the wrapping, and wash the rest of his body." 📚This is related by Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, ad-Daraqutni and Ibn as-Sakin, who said it is sahih.  FAJR REMINDER: WHEN A MISTAKE BECOMES A LESSON By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 21, 1448 (3-September-2026) Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām), under the Protection of Allāh, grew up in the very house of Fir’aun. He eventually attained his full strength and reached maturity. Then, one day, he entered the city and found two men fighting—one from his own people, the Banī Israel (an Israelite), and the other from his enemies, a Coptic. The Israelite man called upon Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) for help against the Coptic. Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām), taking advantage of the fact that people were not paying attention, approached the Coptic and struck him with his fist. The man died from the blow. Subḥānallāh! This was how Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) mistakenly killed a person. Yet, he (‘Alayhi Salām) did not simply dismiss the incident as a mistake and move on. The Tashahhud (التَّشَهُّد) is one of the most profound parts of ṣalaah. It brings together tawḥīd, praise of ALLAH Azzawajal, peace upon the Prophet ﷺ, testimony of faith, and a declaration that our entire life belongs to ALLAH Azzawajal.  A Gift For You [[- Episode 6 -]] ----------------- بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Allah (swt) say in Suratul Maryam, chapter 19 verse 23: فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَٰلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten." 📚Maryam 19:23 This means, "I wish I had not been created and I was nothing." - I was something unknown, forgotten and no one knew who I was. *Lessons:* In every situations we found ourselves, Allah (swt) sees our Pain and Struggles. Maryam (a.s.) was a chaste woman, committed to worshipping Allah, and yet Allah tested her with a miraculous pregnancy in a community where pre-marital sex would mean surely being out-casted, even being stoned to death. And Exams also urge students to get prepared in order to succeed. Also, The wise teacher sets different evaluation criteria for different grades; the students in the first grade are not evaluated as the students in the advanced degrees. We expect that the fair and wise God would evaluate people according to what they have been provided. Furthermore, The students should not wonder about the intention of the teacher; they are supposed to focus on what the teacher asked them to do. Yes. In this sitting, the common Sunnah supplication is: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي Rabbighfirlii, Rabbighfirlii “My Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me.” The Prophet ﷺ taught this supplication during the sitting between the two prostrations. It is authentically reported in the hadith collections, including Sunan Abī Dāwūd and Sunan al-Tirmidhī. Why “forgive me”?  FAJR REMINDER: FIR’AUN RAISED HIS DOWNFALL By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 20, 1448 (2-September-2026) Among the matters we should deeply reflect upon, as a manifestation of the Greatness and Perfect Planning of Allāh, is the remarkable story of the male child—Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām)—through whom Fir’aun would eventually lose his power and meet his destruction. Subḥānallāh! The very child whom Fir’aun feared and sought to eliminate was raised in his own household. Fir’aun himself became part of the upbringing of Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām). Allāh could have destroyed Fir’aun immediately, but He did not. Instead, He caused the very child through whom Fir’aun would eventually be destroyed to grow up right under his roof. What an extraordinary demonstration of the Power and Wisdom of Allāh! She could think of nothing in this world except her beloved child. The grief was so overwhelming that she was almost unable to conceal what had happened.  A mother's love! It was narrated that Ṣa'ṣa'ah, the paternal uncle of Aḥnaf, said: دَخَلَتْ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ امْرَأَةٌ مَعَهَا ابْنَتَانِ لَهَا فَأَعْطَتْهَا ثَلاَثَ تَمَرَاتٍ فَأَعْطَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا تَمْرَةً ثُمَّ صَدَعَتِ الْبَاقِيَةَ بَيْنَهُمَا.‏ قَالَتْ فَأَتَى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَقَالَ ‏ ”مَا عَجَبُكِ لَقَدْ دَخَلَتْ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ.“ “A woman entered upon Ā'ishah with her two daughters, and she gave her three dates. The body is at its lowest, yet spiritually it is a position of tremendous honour and closeness to ALLAH Azzawajal. We then say: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى Subḥaana Rabbiyal-Aʿalaa Meaning: “Glory is to my LORD, the Most High.” It is normally repeated three times, though the number is not restricted to exactly three. As we rise from rukūʿ, we say: سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ Samiʿallāhu liman ḥamidah Meaning: “ALLAH hears the one who praises HIM.” This isn't merely telling us that ALLAH Azzawajal physically hears our voice. ALLAH'S hearing is perfect. HE hears every servant, every prayer and every praise, regardless of how quietly it is spoken. It also carries the meaning that ALLAH responds to and gives attention to the praise of HIS servant.  FAJR REMINDER: FIR’AUN’S PLAN, ALLĀH’S DECREE By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 18, 1448 (31-August-2026) It is mentioned that when Fir’aun had killed so many of the male children of Banī Israel, the Copts became concerned that the population of Banī Israel would eventually die out. They feared that, once the men were gone, they would be forced to take on the heavy labor that Banī Israel had been performing. So they said to Fir’aun, “If this continues, and their old men die and the young men are killed, their women will not be able to do the work that the men are doing, and we will end up having to do it.” As a result, Fir’aun ordered that the boys should be killed one year and spared the following year. Prophet Hārūn (‘Alayhi Salām) was born in a year when the boys were not being killed, while Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) was born during the year in which the boys were being killed.
