For Sisters Only
-----------------بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم
My dear sister in Islam,
Let me tell you something straight from the heart.
That man you call your husband—the one who sometimes makes you sad, who forgets your feelings, who is not perfect—please know this: Allah (swt) did not make a mistake when He joined you to him.
You made du'a before marriage. You prayed for a good man. And still, you ended up with someone who has faults, maybe even someone who hurts you. Why?
Because this life is not paradise. This life is a test.
Allah (swt) brought us here to see: will we be patient? Will we hold on to Him when things are hard? The reward is not always here in this world. The real reward is waiting for you later—if you pass the test.
Think about Asiya, may Allah be pleased with her. She was married to Pharaoh—the worst, most arrogant man who ever lived. He claimed to be God. He tortured her and her people. He was cruel and evil.
But did Asiya run away? Did she give up on Allah?
No. She stayed patient. She held onto her her belief that marriage is part of worldly test. And because of that understanding and patience, she earned something huge: a house in paradise. Allah (swt) honored her forever. Her husband was a monster, but she still won.
So dear sister, your husband might have bad habits. He might say harsh words. He might not understand you. This is hard—so hard. But this could be your chance.
This is exactly why the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Marriage is half of faith."
Because marriage teaches you a lot not only patience. It teaches you forgiveness. It teaches you to control your anger and to seek Allah (swt) in your hardest moments. Every time you hold back a harsh word for the sake of Allah (swt), it is written as a good deed. Every tear you cry alone, Allah (swt) sees it. Every time you make du'a for your husband even when he doesn't deserve it, you are planting seeds for Jannah.
This does not mean you stay in abuse—no. Islam protects you. But if your test is a difficult husband with a bad attitude, do not think Allah (swt) forgot you. Do not think this is a waste.
This is your opportunity.
An opportunity to show Allah (swt) that you love Him more than your own comfort. An opportunity to earn His mercy, His forgiveness, and His favor. An opportunity to walk into paradise with Asiya, with the best women, because you passed the hardest test.
So today, when your heart is heavy, whisper to Allah:
"O Allah, I am tired. But I am patient for You. Please turn my patience into light. Please turn my tears into mercy. And please, grant me Jannah because I held on when it was easier to let go."
Your husband may be imperfect. But your Allah (swt) is perfect. And He sees every struggle. He will not waste your effort.
Keep going, dear sister. Your paradise is waiting.
Muslim
