YOUR TRUE COLOUR

YOUR TRUE COLOUR

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The results of our deeds—good or bad—will not be given to us in this world. Our final results will be revealed on the Day of Judgement.

My dear brother and sister, please listen.

Allah (SWT) has given us a special organ in our body that can determine whether we pass or fail in this test of life.

This organ is the heart.

The heart is where our intentions reside. It is also where we may conceal our sins and desires from people. When we are alone, it may whisper:

"No one is watching. Go ahead. Do it."

Actually, it is easy to appear righteous in front of others.

We pray.
We give charity.
We speak kindly.
We behave well.

People may look at us and say:

"Masha'Allah, what a good Muslim."

But how are we when we are alone?

If someone is one person in public but completely different in private—obedient before people but sinful when nobody is watching—then this is something that should deeply concern the heart.

Every time we deliberately sin in secret, we risk making the heart harder and further away from Allah (SWT).

Think about this:

One of the signs of sincere fear of Allah (SWT) is that a person remains obedient even when nobody is watching.

When no human being is present, they still refrain from sin because they know that Allah (SWT) is always watching.

It is said that the person whose deeds in private resemble their deeds in public has a heart striving for sincerity and sincerity before Allah.

Now, do not misunderstand this.

This does not mean that every good deed performed publicly is done for showing off.

Some people say:

"If you give charity openly, you are only showing off, so you will receive no reward."

But that is not necessarily true.

Allah (SWT) says:

"Those who spend their wealth [in Allah's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly—they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve."

📚 Surah Al-Baqarah 2:274

Allah (SWT) praises those who spend both secretly and openly. The important question is not simply where or how the deed is performed, but why it is performed.

Your intention. Your sincerity.

Are you doing it to be seen and praised by people?

Or are you doing it sincerely for the sake of Allah (SWT)?

So, my beloved brother and sister, I sincerely urge you:

Look at your heart today.

1. When you are alone and a screen is in front of you, what does your heart choose?

2. When nobody is there to stop you, what does your heart desire?

3. When you think nobody is watching, remember that Allah (SWT) is watching.

He sees the eye that looks.

He sees the hand that reaches.

He hears every whisper.

Nothing is hidden from Him.

Do not allow your heart to become the reason for your failure. Do not allow your desires to deceive you.

Purify your heart.

Cleanse it from the diseases of sin.

Fear Allah (SWT) and worship Him with sincerity. As the Prophet ﷺ explained in the famous Hadith of Jibril, Ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him; and if you cannot see Him, then know that He certainly sees you.

The examination is happening now.

The result will come later.

Do not be among those who discover their failure when the results are announced.

May Allah (SWT) purify our hearts, forgive our secret and public sins, strengthen us when we are alone, and make our private deeds better than our public appearance.

May He make us among those whose hearts are sincere and whose obedience remains firm whether people are watching or not.

Ameen, Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
