YOUR BEST LESSON

YOUR BEST LESSON

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

When you hear about Prophet Zakariyyah (AS) or Prophet Musa (AS), don't just listen. Look at your own life.

Yes, their stories are not merely old tales. They are among the lessons Allah has given us to teach us how to live today.

Here is how:

Sometimes, things don't go the way you want them to. You feel sad, disappointed, or even confused. This is where your test begins.

Look at Prophet Zakariyyah (AS). He longed for a child and continued to make Du'a for a long time. But did he stop making Du'a? No! He never gave up hope in Allah.

And when Allah finally answered his prayer, He did not merely give him a child. Allah blessed him with Yahya (AS), a noble Prophet.

The long and painful period of waiting became a source of great joy and blessing.

Allah (SWT) says about Yahya (AS):

“And [We gave him] affection from Us and purity, and he was God-fearing.”
📚 Surah Maryam 19:13

Therefore, when you experience disappointment, don't immediately assume that everything is going wrong. Sometimes, a hardship may contain wisdom that you cannot see yet.

Instead of asking only, “Why is this happening to me?”, ask yourself:

“What can I learn from this situation, and how can I become closer to Allah through it?”

Can we still talk about your Du'a?

You keep asking and asking, but you don't see the answer you are hoping for. Have you ever felt like giving up?

Remember Prophet Musa (AS).

He faced an enormous challenge in confronting Pharaoh and leading the Children of Israel to safety. He remained firm in his trust in Allah, even when the situation appeared impossible.

When you feel that your Du'a is taking too long, remember this:

Your Du'a is not a waste of time.

Continue calling upon Allah. Continue trusting Him. The answer may come in the way you expect, in a different form, or Allah may grant you something better and avert something harmful from you.

Do not allow a delay in receiving what you asked for to make you believe that Allah has not heard you.

Keep turning to Allah, no matter what.

What Can You Hold On To for Comfort?

(1) When a door closes, remember Prophet Zakariyyah (AS). Don't lose hope in Allah's mercy.

(2) When you become tired of making Du'a, remember the patience and trust demonstrated by the Prophets of Allah.

(3) When facing hardship, don't think only in terms of “I lost something” or “I gained something.” Ask yourself:

“What can I learn from this, and how can this bring me closer to Allah?”

Indeed, many difficulties can teach us patience, humility, gratitude, wisdom, and reliance upon Allah.

In fact...

The early Muslims also experienced fear, sadness, hardship, and uncertainty.

Your life today is different from theirs, but the One you turn to is the same Allah who heard the Du'a of Prophet Zakariyyah (AS), supported Prophet Musa (AS), and helped His servants through their trials.

Their lives are not merely stories to read. They contain lessons for us to reflect upon and follow.

So, when life becomes difficult, don't give up.

When your Du'a seems unanswered, don't stop calling upon Allah.

When you cannot understand what is happening, continue trusting Allah's wisdom.

And when you cannot see the way forward, remember that Allah sees what you cannot see.

The best part of your story may still be ahead of you.

May Allah accept our Du'as, strengthen our faith, ease our difficulties, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us goodness in this world and the Hereafter.

AAMEEN. 🤲

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
