ASK YOURSELF: IS ALLAH PLEASED WITH ME?
Bismillāh.

Before you speak, act, earn, spend, use your phone, or make a decision, pause and ask yourself:

“Will this please Allāh ʿAzzawajal?”

Allāh ʿAzzawajal says:

“And the pleasure of Allāh is greater.”
— Qur’ān 9:72

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allāh, even if it means displeasing the people, Allāh will be pleased with him…”
— Jāmiʿ At-Tirmidhī 2414

Brothers and sisters, we spend so much time asking ourselves:

“Will people be pleased with me?”

But the question that truly matters is:

“IS ALLĀH PLEASED WITH ME?”

Our wealth, status, beauty, and worldly achievements will all be left behind. What matters is what we take with us when we return to Allāh ʿAzzawajal.

Live for His pleasure. Die upon His pleasure.

May Allāh make us among those who earn His pleasure and meet Him while He is pleased with us.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group.
