THE LOVE OF THIS LIFE HAS BLINDED US FROM FOCUSING ON THE HEREAFTER

BismilLah.

Sometimes, our hearts become so attached to the dunya that we spend all our strength chasing money, status, comfort, houses, cars, and the praise of people, while becoming careless about the most important thing we should strive for: the Aakhirah.

ALLAH Azzawajal reminds us:

"But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is better and more lasting."
(Qur'an 87:16–17)

Allahu Akbar.

The dunya is not the problem. The problem is when the dunya enters our hearts and pushes the Aakhirah out. We work hard for a temporary life, but how much effort are we making for Jannah? We plan carefully for our future in this world, but are we preparing for the day when we will stand alone before ALLAH Azzawajal?

Let us wake up before it is too late.

The dunya will eventually leave us, but our deeds will remain with us. Let us spend for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal. Let us put more effort into Salaah, repentance, giving Sadaqah, helping the needy, and strengthening our families upon Islaam.

Do good while we still have the opportunity, because one day, we will leave everything behind.

May ALLAH Azzawajal make the Aakhirah our greatest concern, purify our hearts from excessive love of the dunya, and grant us Jannatul-Firdaws by HIS MERCY.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
