*The Smile of Allah*
--------------------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Is there anything else we know that Allah Almighty has prepared for the people of the night?.. I mean those people who sacrifice few minutes by waking up to worship Allah while others are sleeping.
Muslim Faithful!
The Prophet (pbuh) said: *"there are three (3) categories of people whom Allah Almighty loves and He smiles at them and HE is happy with them. Yes. Imagine Allah (swt) smiling 😊 at you!"*
What must they have done to deserve the smile of Allah the Almighty?
The Prophet (pbuh) mentioned *one of the three (3) people is a person who has a beautiful spouse (husband/wife) and a very comfortable bed, but then, in the middle of the night, he or she gets up and leaves his or her spouse, leaves his or her desire to remember Allah.* So Allah Almighty will say to His angels:
"Look at how my slaves left their beds and desire in order to remember Me.. And *if they wanted, they could have continued sleeping.* then, Allah (swt) smiles at such persons".
Now,
*What happens when Allah Smiles at you?*
Imam Ahmad narrates in his Musnad that the Prophet (pbuh) said, answering the above question:
"When our Lord smiles 😊 at a person in the life of this world, he or she will not have any accountability on the Day of Judgment. Yes. All of the horrors that we hear about the Day of Judgment, will not apply to these people, because they will not be held accountable". Subhananllah❗
It's true that,
Sleep is an important part of living and is a way of recharging our batteries to prepare ourself to continue our daily activities, squandering the entire hours of the night sleeping without Tahajjud, suggests that the night have not been better spent or utilized in a more productive way.
Muslim Faithful!
There is enough time to rest and sleep in our graves. Yes. We must remember that, the life of this world is very SHORT when compared to the life of BARZAKH (Grave)😳. Yes. Did you really know that, even the *last living thing who will die in this world* will sleep for 50,000 years in the grave before the trumpet 🎺 is blown, and ALLAH (swt) commence judgment?😳🙆♀.
Now,
If we really believe in the above, why should we squander our entire night without waking up for Tahajjud when we know that preparing for death is a lifetime’s job?
Therefore,
If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. Allah (swt) loves consistency in any act of worship. And waking up everyday for Tahajjud is not something difficult.. Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah.. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.
سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك نشهد ان لا اله الا انت نستغفرك ونتوابوااليك
