The story of Musa A . S and Fir'awn.

 The story of Musa A . S and Fir'awn.

As we know today is Thursday, it is sunnah to fast on this day as the prophet use to fast alot on Mondays and Thursdays.

As we talked of the story of Musa alayhi salam and fir'awn, when Musa alayhi salam came to him and he spoke to Musa alayhi wasalam of what he did to him and took care of him and also even he killed a person and ran away and now comes to him telling him he is a messenger.

So after musa a. S defended himself

So fir'awn asked Musa alayhi wasalam who the lord was?

Allah says,

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:23

Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?"

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:25

[Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?"

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:27

[Pharaoh] said,[1] "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad."

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:28

[Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason."

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:29

[Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned."

So fir'awn decided to threatened Musa alayhi salam.

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:30

[Moses] said, "Even if I brought you something [i.e., proof] manifest?"

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:31

[Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful."

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:32

So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest.[1]

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:33

And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers.

Ash-Shu'ara' 26:34

[Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, "Indeed, this is a learned magician.

Lets look at how Allah misled the one who does not wish guidance. After all the signs, Musa alayhi salam was called magician learned one

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
