The shirk of today

 The shirk of today. Alhamdulillah, the shirk of today is worshipping of scholars that is blind following. 

Allah says, 

At-Taubah 9:31

They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allāh,[1] and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary.[2] And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.


This ayah talks of those who used to worship their scholars when they make haraam halal for them and halal haraam for them. 


As a companion of the prophet salla Allahu alayhi wasalam called Abu hatim Adi when the prophet PBUH recited this verse said, 

O messenger of Allah! We do not worship them. 

So the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam said, 

Do they not make what is forbidden legal for him and what is legal forbidden for you? 

He said Yes, They do and the prophet said that is the worship. 


So anyone who take and makes what Allah has made permissible for us haraam and we obey such a person, it means, we are worshipping them. 


The messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam said,

I have not left among my nation any calamity like the dajjal like the misguided scholars ( ulaamaa'u dhalaal).

May Allah protects us from such misguided scholars.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH
