 The strange muslim. 

Alhamdulillaah, the strange Muslim is the one who practices the teachings of the deen and follows the sunnah. 

He becomes strange when people have turned corrupted by innovating and copying the western lifestyle. 

As reported in hadith, 

Narrated Kathir bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'Awf bin Zaid bin Milhah narrated from his father, from his grandfather:

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed the religion with creep into the Hijaz just like a snake creeps into its hole, and the religion will cling to the Hijazjust like the female mountain goat cling to the peak of a mountain. Indeed the religion began as something strange and it will return to being strange. So Tuba is for the strangers who correct what the people have corrupted from my Sunnah after me."

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2630.

In another hadith, it says, 

Amr b. ‘Auf reported God’s messenger as saying, “The religion will shrink back to the Hijaz as a snake shrinks back to its hole, and the religion will seek refuge inthe Hijaz as the mountain goat seeks refuge in the mountain top. The religion began few in number and will return to the state in which it began. Blessed are the few, for they will set right the corruptions caused in my sunna by people after my death.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.

This deen of islam is gradually fading from its true teachings as people are innovating each day in the deen. 

The successful and those upon the truth are always few and they too will be steadfast upon it when people sell their religion for worldly gains
