Making dua on friday.
Alhamdulillaah, lets remind ourselves as today is friday, there is an hour if one makes dua is never rejected.
As reported in hadith and some scholars say it is between the time the friday prayer is done till the time the sun falls(maghrib).
As reported in hadith,
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) talked about Friday and said, "There is an hour (opportune time) onFriday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand." And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands.
Sahih al-Bukhari 935.
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Salam said:
“I said, when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sitting: ‘We find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there is an hour when no believing slave performs prayer and asksAllah for anything at that time, but Allah will fulfill his need.’” ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pointed to me, saying: ‘Or some part of an hour.’ I said: ‘you are right, or some part of an hour.’ I said: ‘What time is that?’ He said: ‘It is the last hours of the day.’ I said: ‘It is not the time of the prayer?’ He said: ‘Yes (it is so), when a believing slave performs prayer and then sits with nothing but the prayer keeping him, he is still in a state of prayer.’”
Sunan ibn Majah
Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1139.
So the last hours of friday is the time known as the time if one makes supplication is not rejected.
