Who spend [in the cause of Allāh] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allāh loves the doers of good;
A man came to the messenger of Allah peace be upon him asking for advice,
The prophet said to him not to be angry three times.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)::
A man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Counsel me,” so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not become angry.” The man repeated [his request for counsel] several times and [each time] he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not become angry.” [Al-Bukhari]
40 Hadith Nawawi 16.
Because when a person becomes angry can do anything and kater regret.
Anger is from shaitan and we must control our anger.
Mu`adh bin Jabal narrated ::
that one of the two men cursed the other next to the Prophet (ﷺ), until anger could be recognized in the face of one of them. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Verily, I know a statement, that if he were to say it, his anger would leave: ‘I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan, the rejected (A`ūdhu billāhiminash-shaiṭānir-rajīm).’”
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3452.
When one is made angry should keep silent and make istihada by saying A'oothu billaahi minash shaytaan ir rajeem.
