How to be patient in life and as a muslim.
Alhamdulillah, patience cannot be attained without first controlling our anger.
When we do not learn to control our emotions we can never control our Anger.
As reported in hadith,
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
Some Ansari persons asked for (something) from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) and he gave them. They again asked him for (something) and he again gave them. And then they asked him and he gave them again till all that was with him finished. And then he said "If I had anything. I would not keep it away from you. (Remember) Whoever abstains from asking others, Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience.""
Sahih al-Bukhari 1469.
To be patient, we have to control ourselves and learn to forgive and let things go away.
Lets learn to forget easily and not to put things into our minds
Allah s.w.t praised some people and made them special.
Allah says,
Aal-e-Imran 3:134
Who spend [in the cause of Allāh] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allāh loves the doers of good;
Aal-e-Imran 3:136
Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.
Just as we pardon and overlook at people affairs is the same way Allah forgives our sins
Patience can be developed by learning to sit with righteous people and knowing the reward of patience is never measured.
Everything of this life is based on patience in other for us to be happy.
We can never be true believers without it.
And finally, praying to Allah to make our hearts enduring to every Qadr he has written for us and make it easy for us.
May Allah bless us with patience and endurance. Aamiin
