The dignity of patience.
Alhamdulillah الصبر meaning patience is one of the character of a believer.
Allah says,
Al-Baqarah 2:153
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allāh is with the patient.
Allah says,
Al-Baqarah 2:155
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
In life, we shall be tested and everyone is going through an exams in this world.
That is why we are just here for a temporal period of time to the next stage after death.
Allah says,
Al-Anbiya 21:35
Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
Allah says,
Every soul shall taste death and we will be tested with evil and goodness.
Allah started with evil because the evil trials and calamity that strike us is more of a trial than getting wealth, children and beauties of life.
Getting beauty of life, women, weqlth, luxuries is a trial but being in poverty, sickness, hungry, abuse and rejected by peoples is greater trial and Allah usually tests these with those he loves and feel to bring closer to him always.
Allah says,
Al-Baqarah 2:214
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allāh?" Unquestionably, the help of Allāh is near.
The believers are tested with much greater trial to the level of their eeman.
