What are the things a man should look out in a woman before marrying her?

 The question asked, 

What are the things a man should look out in a woman before marrying her? 

Alhamdulillah, marriage is an act of worship. Marrying a woman, a person is to look and observe at her religious life. 

As the prophet pbuh said, 

A woman is married for the things, 

The beauty, the wealth, her family status and her religion. 

But i urge you to marry a religious woman, may your hand be rubbed with dust(successful).

So a woman who has good manners and religion is preferred as a believer to choose as a wife compared to a woman with beauty, wealth and family status without piety. 

The reason is all these can fade away. If beauty, one day, the face will change, the shape will change, if family status, one day, they might loose it, if wealth, one day, she might be poor but when there is piety and good manners, each day, she will please her husband even at old age. 

But if a man has a woman with beauty, wealth, family status and piety, then Allah has granted him everything like khadijah bint khuwaylid. 

Getting a pious wife and a wife who keeps us happy is the beauty of this world. 

The messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam said, 

The world is made up of many resources, but the best resource is to get a pious wife. 

Sahih.
