SEEKING THE BLESSINGS OF ALLAH ON THIS BLESSED FRIDAY THROUGH SENDING SALAWAAT UPON OUR BELOVED PROPHET ﷺ

Bismillaah.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh, dear brothers and sisters in Islaam.

Alhamdulillaah! We have witnessed another blessed Friday, a beautiful opportunity to remember ALLAH Azzawajal, seek HIS forgiveness, and increase our love for our beloved Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ.

Dear brothers and sisters, do not allow this blessed day to pass without sending abundant blessings upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Amid our busy schedules, worldly struggles, and endless pursuits, let us pause and remember the Messenger of ALLAH who taught us the path to HIS pleasure.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:

“Indeed, ALLAH and HIS angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, ask ALLAH to send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.”

(Qur’an 33:56)

Let us frequently recite this beautiful salawaat:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ

Allaahumma salli wa sallim ‘alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammad.

Meaning: O ALLAH, send Your blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ said:

“The best of your days is Friday, so send a great deal of blessings upon me during it.”

(Sunan Abi Dawud 1047)

Dear Muslims, sending salawaat upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ is a beautiful act of worship. Let our tongues remain moist with his remembrance, our hearts be filled with love for him, and our lives reflect the Sunnah he left behind.

Remember, true love for the Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ is expressed not only through our words but also through following his teachings, displaying good character, forgiving others, and striving to obey ALLAH Azzawajal.

Let us make the most of this blessed Friday by increasing our salawaat, engaging in sincere supplication, seeking forgiveness, and striving to follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.

May ALLAH Azzawajal shower HIS MERCY upon us, forgive our sins, accept our righteous deeds and salawaat, strengthen our love for HIS beloved Messenger ﷺ, and grant us his companionship in Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen Ya Rabbal Aalameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
