CLUB FOR SISTERS

CLUB FOR SISTERS

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Imagine there is a special club that only opens at night, when most people are asleep.

To enter, you have to leave your warm, comfortable bed and stand before Allah.

This club is called Tahajjud.

Allah ﷻ knows that leaving your bed in the middle of the night is not easy—especially when the prayer is voluntary. That is why the night prayer is such a precious act of worship.

Allah ﷻ praises those who leave their beds to call upon Him:

“They arise from their beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and hope…”
(Qur’an 32:16)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The best prayer after the obligatory prayer is the night prayer.”
(Sahih Muslim)

But here is something every sister should know:

Your connection to Allah does not stop during your menses.

Yes, Sister.

A woman does not choose when her period comes. It is not a punishment, nor does menstruation prevent her from remembering Allah, making du‘ā, sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ, or seeking Allah's forgiveness.

The Prophet ﷺ said to ‘Ā’ishah رضي الله عنها regarding menstruation:

“This is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

So if you wake up during the night while menstruating, you can still turn your heart towards Allah.

You can:

1. Say Astaghfirullāh repeatedly.

2. Make dhikr and remember Allah.

3. Send ṣalāh and salām upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

4. Make sincere du‘ā and ask Allah for whatever you need.

5. Reflect upon Allah's blessings and repent from your sins.

You do not need to feel that you have been excluded from the mercy and blessings of the night simply because you are menstruating.

And when your menses ends…

Return to the prayer.

If you can pray two rak‘ahs, pray two.

If you can pray more, pray more.

The important thing is to establish a sustainable habit rather than burdening yourself with something you cannot maintain.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are few.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

Dearest Sister,

If you have not already done so, set your phone alarm tonight.

Choose a time that you can realistically maintain. You do not have to make your routine complicated. Even a small, sincere beginning can become something beautiful over time.

Wake up.

Make wuḍū’.

Stand before Allah.

Pray what you are able to pray.

Then make du‘ā.

And when you finish, your bed will still be waiting for you. 😊

But that particular moment of the night will have passed.

The night is a precious opportunity. Do not underestimate a few quiet minutes spent alone with your Lord.

Perhaps nobody else knows that you woke up.

Perhaps nobody sees your tears.

Perhaps nobody hears your du‘ā.

But Allah ﷻ knows.

And that is enough.

So, dear Sister:

Do not wait until you become “perfect” before beginning.

Start with what you can maintain.

Two rak‘ahs.

A few minutes of dhikr.

A sincere du‘ā.

And when menstruation comes, continue your night-time connection with Allah through dhikr, du‘ā and other permissible acts of worship.

May Allah ﷻ make us among those who remember Him abundantly, stand before Him during the night, and remain consistent in worship until we meet Him.

Āmīn.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
