THE REAL MEANING OF “NOTHING CAN HAPPEN TO US WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLĀH AZZAWAJAL” (CONTINUED)

Bismillāh ir-Raḥmān ir-Raḥīm.

Let us conclude this topic by reflecting on some important lessons we can apply in our daily lives.

Lesson 1: Never become arrogant when life is going well.

Our wealth, health, success, and opportunities are blessings from Allāh Azzawajal. Rather than becoming proud or looking down on others, we should remain grateful and use these blessings in ways that please Him.

Lesson 2: Never despair when life becomes difficult.

Our present circumstances do not define our entire future. Hardships are part of life, but they should never cause us to lose hope in the mercy of Allāh Azzawajal. Let us continue making Du‘ā’, taking the necessary steps, and trusting Him throughout the journey.

Lesson 3: Stop destroying your peace by comparing your life with others.

Allāh Azzawajal has decreed different circumstances for different people. Instead of becoming envious of what others possess, learn from them, work towards your goals, and remain grateful for the blessings you have received. Remember that everyone has their own tests, even when those tests are not visible to you.

Lesson 4: Do not blame Allāh Azzawajal for the evil choices of people.

Human beings remain accountable for their actions and decisions. The fact that Allāh allows something to occur does not mean that He approves of every action people commit. Protect your rights, uphold justice, stand against wrongdoing through lawful means, and ensure that your own conduct remains pleasing to Allāh Azzawajal.

Lesson 5: Do not use Al-Qadr as an excuse for laziness.

Belief in divine decree does not mean abandoning effort or refusing to take responsibility. Make plans, work diligently, seek beneficial knowledge, fulfil your family responsibilities, and pursue lawful provision. Trust in Allāh while making the necessary efforts to achieve what is beneficial.

Lesson 6: When you lose something, remember that this world is temporary.

Loss can be painful, and Islam does not require us to pretend otherwise. Grieve when you must, but do not allow worldly losses to destroy your faith or make you forget the Hereafter. Whatever we possess in this world is temporary, whereas our relationship with Allāh and our preparation for the Hereafter deserve our greatest attention.

Lesson 7: Thank Allāh Azzawajal in times of ease and turn to Him in times of hardship.

Do not remember Allāh only when you need something. Let Him remain at the centre of your life in both prosperity and adversity. Thank Him when things go well, seek His forgiveness when you fall short, and turn to Him for strength when life becomes difficult.

THE ULTIMATE MESSAGE: TRUST ALLĀH, BUT KEEP MOVING FORWARD

Dear brothers and sisters in Islām, believing in Al-Qadr should not make us passive, fearful, or hopeless. Rather, it should make us courageous, humble, patient, and determined.

When something happens that you did not desire, remind yourself that nothing has escaped the knowledge of Allāh Azzawajal.

When you make a mistake, repent sincerely and strive to improve.

When you are wronged, seek justice through lawful means.

When you receive a blessing, express gratitude.

When your plans fail, reassess your approach and try again.

And when you reach the limits of what you can control, place your trust in Allāh Azzawajal.

Allāh Azzawajal says:

“And whoever relies upon Allāh—then He is sufficient for him.”

[Sūrah aṭ-Ṭalāq, 65:3]

This verse does not promise that every worldly wish will be fulfilled exactly as we desire. Rather, it teaches us to place our reliance upon Allāh Azzawajal while fulfilling our responsibilities, making sound decisions, and trusting His wisdom.

Our duty is to obey Allāh, make righteous choices, strive for what is beneficial, avoid what is forbidden, and trust Him with the outcome.

We may not always understand why certain things happen, but our limited understanding does not diminish the perfect knowledge of Allāh Azzawajal.

May Allāh Azzawajal grant us a sound understanding of Al-Qadr, hearts that remain firm during trials, gratitude during times of blessing, patience during hardship, and the wisdom to make choices that please Him. May He protect us from despair, arrogance, envy, and misplaced reliance, and make us among those who trust Him sincerely while striving to do what is right.

Āmīn, Yā Rabb al-‘Ālamīn.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
