FAJR REMINDER: A MESSAGE TO THE STRANGERS

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismillāh-ir-Raḥmān-ir-Raḥīm

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Alḥamdulillāh!

In times when corruption spreads, misconceptions abound, and temptations surround us, those who sincerely strive to uphold the authentic teachings of Islām may feel like strangers among their own communities. Yet, this is not a new reality. The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) foretold it:

“Islām began as something strange, and it will return to being strange. Then, blessedness is for the strangers.”

📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 145

WHO ARE THE STRANGERS?

They are those who remain righteous when wrongdoing becomes widespread, strive to correct corruption with knowledge and wisdom, and remain committed to the truth even when those who reject it outnumber those who accept it.

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (رضي الله عنهما) reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) described the strangers as:

“Righteous people among many evil people. Those who disobey them are more numerous than those who obey them.”

📚 Musnad Aḥmad 6650

Dear servants of Allāh, do not allow people's rejection to weaken your commitment to the truth. Do not abandon the Sunnah because it seems unfamiliar to others, nor compromise your religion merely to gain acceptance. What matters most is not how many people approve of you, but whether your beliefs and actions are pleasing to Allāh.

Allāh (ﷻ) says:

“Verily, those who say: ‘Our Lord is Allāh,’ and thereafter stand firm, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”

📖 Sūrah Al-Aḥqāf 46:13

BE PATIENT UPON THE TRUTH

The journey of steadfastness is not always easy. There will be moments when practising your religion attracts criticism, when speaking the truth makes you unpopular, and when holding firmly to authentic teachings makes you feel isolated.

But remember the words of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ):

“A time of patience will come to people in which adhering to one’s religion is like grasping a hot coal.”

📚 Jāmi‘ At-Tirmidhī 2260

Therefore, remain patient. Seek Allāh’s help, increase your knowledge, purify your intentions, and continue doing what is right. Do not let hardship make you despair of Allāh’s mercy.

HOLD FIRMLY TO THE SUNNAH

In times of confusion and disagreement, our guidance must remain the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ), understood through sound Islamic knowledge. We must pursue the truth with sincerity, humility, wisdom, and patience, avoiding arrogance and unnecessary disputes.

Being a stranger is not about considering ourselves superior to others. Rather, it is about remaining faithful to Allāh, correcting ourselves first, and striving to uphold the truth even when it is unpopular.

O YOU WHO STRIVE TO REMAIN UPON THE TRUTH!

Remain steadfast. Do not exchange the pleasure of Allāh for the approval of people. Continue learning, worshipping sincerely, enjoining good, discouraging evil with wisdom, and placing your trust in Allāh.

Even when the path seems lonely, remember that your Lord knows your struggles, hears your supplications, and sees every sincere effort you make for His sake.

May Allāh make us among the blessed strangers who sincerely uphold His Religion, remain steadfast upon the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, endure trials with patience, and meet Him while He is pleased with us.

Āmīn Yā Rabbal-‘Ālamīn.

PLEASE SHARE THIS REMINDER. MAY ALLĀH REWARD YOU ABUNDANTLY.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
