GOOD CHARACTER IS A TREASURE WORTH GUARDING

Good character is a treasure worth guarding. The values planted within us can guide our conscience, restrain us when we are tempted to fall below our best, and call us back when we make mistakes.

But goodness must be renewed through the choices we continue to make. Let honesty, mercy, humility, and integrity remain part of who we are, especially when compromise would be easier.

May the finest qualities within us grow stronger with time and bring benefit wherever Almighty Allah places us.

O Allah, make us among those whom You love. Preserve what is good within our character, correct what needs refining, and let the life You have given us lead us to a Hereafter filled with Your pleasure.

Āmīn.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group.
