*Be patient and strive to succeed*

*Translation:*
A great Hadith from the Ahadith of Honourable Messenger ﷺ that puts in the hearts of the believers, Peace and comfort.
Prophet ﷺ said _"The believing man and woman will continue to be afflicted in respect to themselves, their children, their property, until they meet Allah without sins"_
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2399, Grade: Sahih]

So be patient, oh people of affliction!
Indeed Allah ﷻ has accounted for you a great reward!
Allah ﷻ says

*إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ*

_Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning._
[39:10]

Allah ﷻ also says

*وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ*

_Glad tidings to those who are patient._

*الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ*

_Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return"_

And what has Allah ﷻ prepared for them?

*أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ*

_Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided._
[2:155-157]
_
Al-Muttalib reported that  Umm Salamah رضي الله عنه narrated: On an occasion Abū Salamah رضي الله عنه came back after he was with Allah’s Messenger ﷺ and said, “I heard Allah’s Messenger recite a statement that made me delighted.”

He said, _“No Muslim is struck with an affliction and then says istirja’ (saying: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiʿūn” [from Allāh we come and to Him we will return]) when the affliction strikes, and then he says, ‘O Allah! reward me for my loss and give me what is better than it’, except that Allah will do that for him.”_

_Umm Salamah رضي الله عنها memorised these words and when Abu Salamah died, she recited these words and the Prophet ﷺ came and asked for marriage after her Iddah!_
[Full full hadith refer Sahih Muslim 11/4 (918), Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawood 3/190 no 3119 and At-Tirmidhi 3511]
_
What a great advice to be patient!
Another great Hadith,
The Prophet ﷺ said _"Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him *he is grateful and that is good for him.* If something of harm befalls him *he is patient and that is good for him*"_
[Sahih Muslim 2999]
_
We must always keep in mind that our lives are meant to be a test not a reward!
_
Rather, it is what you do in your comfort when you have it, and in your hardship when it afflicts you, that matters!
_
_Do you remain steadfast and patient and faithful to Allah ﷻ?_

_Or do you fall short and become arrogant and ungrateful with Allah ﷻ?_
_
*Reflect*

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
