*DU'Ā ON WISDOM AND GENEROSITY*

YA ALLAH, on this day, grant me wisdom and awareness, keep me away from foolishness and pretension, grant me a share in every blessing You send down.

Ya Karim, You are the most Generous, grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. 

Ya Salam, the Bestower of peace, grant me peace of mind and peace of heart.  Grant me sabr when things do not go my way. You are Al Khabir, You are all aware and know what is best for me, so allow me to be wise and help me accept what you have decreed for me and make me among your grateful mumineen. 

Ya Wahhab, You are the Bestower. Bestow upon me sustenance so I do not spread my hands to anyone. Make my provision sufficient so I can live with dignity and honor while remembering your gifts. 

Ya Muqit, You are the Sustainer, sustain my material and sustain my spiritual necessities. Allow me to be humble when I receive provisions from you and do not make me of the arrogant. 

Ya Basit, You are the Expander, increase the barakah in my life, in my work and in my actions. For a life devoid of barakah is emptiness. Ya Mughni, enrich my spiritual void and emptiness and just as you give me material rizq, enrich my soul with the sweetness of emaan and taqwa. 

Ameen ya Rabbul Aalameen!

Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?"  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life.
