Who is a MAN?

*Who is a MAN?*  A man is the most beautiful part of God's creation.  He sacrifices his dreams for just a  smile on his parents' face.  He spends his entire pocket money on buyng gifts for the lady he loves, just to see her smiling.   He sacrifices his full youth for his wife & children by working late at night without any complaint.  He builds their future by taking loans from banks & repaying them for his entire lifetime.  He struggles a lot & still has to bear scolding from his mother, wife and boss. His life ends up only by compromising for others' happiness. If he goes out, he is careless.  If he stays at home, he is lazy.  If he scolds his children, he is a monster.  If he doesn't scold them, he is an irresponsible man.  If he stops his wife from working, then he is an insecure man.  If he doesn't stop his wife from working, then he  is somebody who lives on his wife's earnings.  If he listens to mom, he is mama's boy.  If he listens to hi

But Allaah, Mighty and Sublime, says:  "Follow (O men!) the revelation given to you from your Lord, and follow not, as friends and protectors, other than Him. Little is it you remember of admonition."19 1. THE SUNNĀHS OF ATHAN (CALL FOR PRAYER)

*THE SUNNĀHS OF ATHAN (CALL FOR PRAYER)* There are five Sunnah actions (i.e. Prophetic actions) recommended by the Prophet – Peace be upon him - Upon hearing the call for the prayer, as mentioned in Zad Al Ma’ad Book, by Ibn Al Qayyem:  1-The hearer should repeat after the Mo’athen (The one who calls for prayer) all words except when the Mo’athen says: (Hayyah Ala As-Sala – i.e. hasten to the prayer) and (Hayyah Ala Al-Falah – i.e. hasten to the salvation), the hearer should say:   لَا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ  (La Hawla Wala Quwata Ella Belllah – i.e. there is no might and no power except by Allah). Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.  The benefit of this Sunnah: You will be rewarded with Paradise as stipulated in Sahih Muslim.  2-The hearer should say:  أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا  ( I also bear wit- ness that none has the rig

﷽ *Series On The Manner & Etiquette of Seeking Knowledge*  *Episode 3* After you have built a solid foundation in fiqh and gained an understanding of the most important issues of ‘aqeedah, you can prepare yourself for deeper study of the laws of Allah, learning about differences of opinion and how to determine which view is more likely to be correct, as there are specific tools for this task that you cannot do without, the most important of which are ‘ilm an-nahw was-sarf (study of Arabic language and grammar), ‘ilm usool al-fiqh (the funadamentals of fiqh) and ‘ilm al-hadith (study of hadith). Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 281 What is a Good Muslim Marriage Like? (3)

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 281* *What is a Good Muslim Marriage Like? (3)*   If the wife does go out to work, then extra thought and organisation are obviously  needed, if the home is not to lose out. This might mean that a husband would be expected to do more in the way of housework than he might really want to do-and in fairness, if a  woman is working long hours as well as the man, then he is a poor Muslim if he does not do his fair share around the house.  Some Muslim men need reminding that the various fatwas (authoritative pronouncements in religious law) on who has responsibility for housework actually vary quite a lot from madhhab to madhhab, and that there is no fixed and rigid Islamic ruling in this respect. The Hanafis, for example (who include most Muslims in Britain), regard housework as a religious obligation binding upon the wife. Yet the position of the classical Shafi'i school is quite different:  'A woman is not obliged to serve

HOW TO BE RICH

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 14th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Saturday 31st October. 2020). *_HOW TO BE RICH_*. BismilLah..  We are taught in Islam that if we want ALLAH to bless us more, we must appreciate the little we've got and be content.     When we are content with what ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) has for us in this world, we will free our mind to work for our Hereafter. The freer we are to work for our Hereafter, the more we will accumulate for it.  The world rewards us primarily on the results we produce: But ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) rewards us on sincerity and effort. Been Rich means acquiring paradise through our faith, sincerity and trust in ALLAH. Imagine you been the wealthiest human on earth but due to your struggle for such wealth, did nothing for your hereafter, you become the foolish person on earth instead isn't it?. *_May ALLAH aid us to strive for our ever lasting happiness in paradise_*. THE ISLAMIC MARRIAGE COURSE HOW TO FIND A COMPATIBLE SPOUSE What to Look for in a Potential Wife 11. Responsible Home Maker

﷽ *THE ISLAMIC MARRIAGE COURSE* ____________ *HOW TO FIND A COMPATIBLE SPOUSE* ____________ *What to Look for in a Potential Wife* ____________ *11. Through her gentle care, she fills the role of a responsible home maker, who takes care of the property of her husband. Her pre-occupation is on raising her children upon righteous foundations, and nursing them with motherly care, so they can grow in righteousness and goodness. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said,  _"All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. The ruler is a guardian and the man is a guardian of his family; the lady is a guardian and is responsible for her husband's house and his children; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards._ (Bukhari) You don’t want t

SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ (The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It) Episode 2

﷽ *SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It)* *Episode 2* *METHODOLOGY OF THIS BOOK*  Since the purpose of this book is to convey the guidance of the Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) regarding Prayer, it was elementary that I would not limit myself to a particular Madhhab, for the reasons mentioned previously. Therefore, I would give whatever is authentically proved from him (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam), as has always been the way of the scholars of Hadeeth13, whether of old or of the recent past14, as the excellent saying goes:  The People of Hadeeth are the People of the Messenger, although They accompany him not, they are with his every movement.15 Thus this book would, Allaah Willing, gather whatever is relevant to each topic from the various contents of the books of Hadeeth and the books on the differences between the Madhhabs, such that the correct verdicts found in this book would not be fo

When Insulting the Prophet ﷺ Becomes a Political Tactic

When Insulting the Prophet ﷺ Becomes a Political Tactic  This is not the first time that the act of insulting our Prophet ﷺ has been used as a political tool. Those who understand our faith  comprehend how sacred our Prophet ﷺ is to us, and know full well the implications of such provocation. Hence, at times they use this provocation as a tactic for sinister political means. One of the first times this occurred was during the early period of Andalusian history. Beginning from around 850 CE and lasting for at least a few decades, a strange phenomenon arose: Christian saints and leaders would walk to the city center of Cordoba, in front of the Grand Mosque (pictured below), and loudly and unequivocally shout out blasphemies against the Prophet ﷺ , using the most vulgar language and foul imagery imaginable. This was 9th century Europe, and they knew full well that the penalty for this public blasphemy was imprisonment, trial and potential execution. In fact, it is estimated that around f

And if they know how much bounty they get in arriving early to the mosque, they would compete for it. And if they know much beneficence in Al fajr(dawn) and AL ‘eshaa(night) prayers they would even go creeping” (agreed upon as a correct narrative)  2-The Du’aa (supplication) upon Going to the Masjid:   اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا وَمِنْ أَمَامِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي نُورًا  “ O Allah, lighten my heart, lighten my speech, lighten my audition, lighten my in- sight and bless me with light from behind, front, ab

It is well-known that the hadiths that have been soundly narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ) are very many, and the seeker of knowledge who is at a beginner or intermediate level cannot learn all of them, but there are some books on this topic which can be referred to, such as ‘Umdat al-Ahkaam by ‘Abd al-Ghani al-Maqdisi (may Allah have mercy on him); al-Arba‘een an-Nawawiyyah by an-Nawawi (RAHIMAHULLAAH); and other brief books.  ﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 280* *What is a Good Muslim Marriage Like? (2)* On another level, there are many women who cannot cope with being confined all day with children and domestic affairs, who long to go out to work simply to have something else to do, other people to see and talk to, and a little financial reward at the end of it. A Muslim man should realise that he is a lucky person indeed if his wife his happy to devote her whole time and attention to him and his needs, and those of their children and relations. He should count his blessings and never forget to appreciate what a treasure he has been granted.  In many Muslim societies it is taken for granted that a married woman will pass her  life in this way, and only someone who has travelled extensively from Muslim country to  Muslim country, and had access and the ability to observe the life of Muslim women, can  comment fairly on the enormous weight of boredom that lies over the lives of man

Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week.  As believers we must run away from sins as one runs away from a wild animal.  Even a minor sin makes a true believer restless as if a mountain is above his head and is about to fall on him and crush him. Let's Make a U-turn in life, wash off our slate of deeds, eliminate the bad deeds and protect our good deeds. Method of making Tau’bah are as follows: 1. To immediately abstain from the sin. 2. To regret and wish one had never indulged in the sin. 3. To resolve to never commit the sin again seeking help from ALLAH. 4. If one have violated the rights of another person it is necessary to seek forgiveness from that person.  After making sincere tau’bah be confident in the acceptance of your tau’bah. Who carries out Islamic legal punishments?* ⚖️🚨

*Who carries out Islamic legal punishments?* ⚖️🚨 By: Abu Amina Elias ✍🏾 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful It is not permissible for a Muslim without judicial authority to implement Islamic legal punishments on his or her own initiative. Vigilante justice, or “taking the law into your own hands,” is forbidden in Islam because it leads to social chaos and likely causes even greater harm than the original crimes. In the same manner, it is not permissible for a Muslim to declare war or to commit an act of war without lawful authority. Abu Huraira reported: Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah said, “O Messenger of Allah, if I find another man with my wife, should I leave him alone until I bring four witnesses?” The Prophet said yes. Sa’d said, “Never! By the one who sent you with the truth, if that happened to me I would quickly grab the sword!” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ﺍﺳْﻤَﻌُﻮﺍ ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﻣَﺎ ﻳَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﺳَﻴِّﺪُﻛُﻢْ ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻟَﻐَﻴُﻮﺭٌ ﻭَﺃَﻧَﺎ ﺃَﻏْﻴَﺮُ ﻣِﻨْﻪُ ﻭَﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﺃَﻏْ

Emotional Story and a beautiful Reminder : An 8 year old was seated at the corner of a mosque with his younger sister. He was deeply engrossed in prayers, Making dua'a to Allah( Subhanahu wa Ta’ala ) He was wearing  very old clothes with patches here & there, but they were very clean. His cheeks were wet with his tears. The passers by were looking at him, but nobody bothered to stop, even the little boy was busy talking to his Rabb.  A stranger went to him, caught his hand & asked him 'what did you ask from Allah?' The little boy looked up & said, 'My dad is no more, I'm praying for Jannah for him. My mother always keeps crying, I am asking Allah to give her patience. My sister always cries for clothes, I want money for her.' The stranger asked 'do you go to school?' The boy replied, 'yes' 'In which grade do you study?'  ﷽ *SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It)* *Episode 1* *Reasons behind the Compilation of this Book, and some of its Features* Since I had not come across a comprehensive book covering this topic, I felt obliged to produce a book which collected together as many features of the Prophet's prayer (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) from the takbeer to the tasleem as possible, for the benefit of my Muslim brothers who wished to follow the guidance of their Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) in their worship, such that it would be easy for any who truly loved the Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) to use this book to fulfil his command, "Pray as you have seen me praying." The occurrence of similar false ahaadeeth in the books of fiqh destroys the reliability of other ahaadeeth which they do not quote from dependable books of Hadeeth.
