A man happened to displayed some mechandise in the market and took an oath that he had been offered a certain price for it while in fact he had not, in order to cheat a man from Muslims. This verse was then revealed. It is a grievous sin to take false oath to sell a product. It is even a sin to deal in ribaa(interest/Riba). We are in a brief world and gathering one's wealth through unlawful means is unreasonablenable. Because at the end, u will be leaving it anytime soon but will be held accountable for how it was earned. The world itself is owned by Allah azza wa jalla but he don't regard it as such. In an authentic narration, HE made mention mention that had the world weigh heavier than that of a wing of mosquito then he would've not allowed disbelievers to eat and drink.

.This simply mean he don't regard dunya as much and that's one of the reasons u can see a disbeliever living a better life than a devout believer. We therefore try to make our matters of the hereafter of much concern that dunya. There's a narration of a renowned Sahaba of our Noble Prophet who in difficult period want to sell a valuable asset of his. As he was heading to the market he met an old man who was also going his way to sell an object of his too. This Sahaba enquired about the man and he was the price he wants to sell it. The Sahaba took the item and promised to sell it before he proceed with his. He came to the market, met a first suitor who gave higher price from what he was ordered to sell for. He refused to sell it arguing that it will be a sin and break of trust.

He later decided to sell it to the man with the reason that he may not get a good price for it. He sold it and brought the full amount to the old man with better explanation. In some narrations the man dashed him all the money, which other claimed he only gave him the exceeded amount. This Sahaba joyfully went to our Noble Prophet and was told the man of the item was Angel Jibriel so was the man that bought it. What we can learn from this narration is HE will surely create a solution so we shouldn't batter trade dunya for akhira as the taking false oath during selling.

*Let's continue on how this verse was revealed*👇. [22:11] Al-Ḥajj-
And amongst people there is also one who worships Allah (keeping just) on the border-line (of Din [Religion]). So if some (worldly) benefit reaches him, he feels contented with this (Din [Religion]), and if some trial befalls him, he turns about on his face away (from Din [Religion]). He met a loss in this world (as well as) in the Hereafter. It is this that is conspicuously a heavy loss.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 266:
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
Regarding the Verse: "And among men is he who worships Allah's as it were on the very edge." (22.11).
A man used to come to Medina as if his wife brought a son and his mares produces offspring. He would say, "This religion (Islam) is good," but if his wife did not give birth to a child and his mares produced no offspring, he would say, "This religion is bad."

A man use to come to come to Medina as if his wife brought a son and his mares produces offspring. He will then say Islam is good, but if she did not give birth to a child and hid produce no offspring, he would say the religion (Islam) is bad. This verse was then revealed in this incident. Hardship which brings u closer to Allah is better than Success/Richness which deter u from Allah. HE is to be worshipped regardless of our life status. We should bear in mind that, this life can never be perfect. And since Prophet didn't have a perfect life, who are we to have one?.

Prophet in an authentic narration use to tie stones to his stomach because of hunger. There are some days, light (fire) isn't lit in his household. He lost His Noble wife (Khadija) and uncle at a very crucial stage. He lost his relatives in numerous battles. Previous Prophets were not out of those challenges. Prophet Musah had a huge task(Pharoah), Ibrahim had namrud and many other challenges. We should however try to stick with Islam when the going get though and be only goaling for Jannah. May HE grant us that....*AMIN*.

And, (O Prophet,) people ask about your edict on matters concerning (orphan) women. Say: ‘Allah ordains you in their case, and the commandment (already) being communicated to you in the holy Book (also) pertains to those orphan women whom you deny (the rights) which have been prescribed for them. And (in order to take their assets into possession) you want to marry them. In addition to that, there is (also a decree) on affairs concerning helpless minor children, that stick to justice in matters of orphans. And whatever good you do, Allah is indeed Well Aware of that.

If a woman fears maltreatment or indifference on the part of her husband, there is no harm if both (husband and wife) reconcile on some appropriate accord, and reconciliation (in truth) is best. The human nature has (no doubt) been made (more or less) self-seeking, but if you practise benevolence and guard yourselves against evil, Allah is indeed Well Aware of the works that you do.
