 Recommended acts to do in the first ten days of dhul hijjah.

As we know, the daytime of dhul hijjah is better than any day on earth in the sight of Allah and doing a good deed in the sight of Allah is better than jihad.

Allah says in Quran,

Al-Baqarah 2:203

۞وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ فِيٓ أَيَّامࣲ مَّعۡدُودَٰتࣲۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوۡمَيۡنِ فَلَآ إِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِۖ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰۗ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمۡ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ 

And remember Allāh during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allāh. And fear Allāh and know that unto Him you will be gathered.

This starts from the first day of dhul hijjah to the last day which is 13th day of dhul hijjah.

Making a lot of takbiraat is one of the great act of worship.

Making Taubah and istighfar.

Praying in congregation and observing the nawafil prayer 

Reciting the Quran alot.

Making alot of supplication.

Giving charity to the needy and poor.

Encouraging what is good and forbidding what is evil.

Visiting and uniting family ties.
