The udhiyah animal to be slaughtered for Allah.
Alhamdulillah, it is obligatory for one offering the udhiyah not to cut anything from his fingernails or hairs.
As reported in hadith,
Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When anyone of you intends to sacrifice the animal and enter in the month of Dhul-Hijjah, he should not get his hair cut or nails pared till he hasoffered his sacrifice." [Muslim].

The animals to slaughter are bahiimatul an'am like cow, sheep, goat, camel.
The cow should be two years, the sheep should be six months and above, the goat is one year, camel is four years.
As reported,
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say, about sacrificial animals, "Six-year-old camels, three- year-old cows and sheep, or older than these.""
