 *Biggest Opportunity*

[[---Episode one---]]
-------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

We are now about to embark on one of those golden opportunities, which is the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. The superiority of the first ten days of Dhul-Hajjah has been mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Yes. This year, Dhul Hijjah will begin from Wednesday May 28, 2025 (depending on your location).

Slaves of Allah!

Each day that Allah (swt) gives us is an opportunity for us to grow closer to Him. It’s a chance to be grateful for what we have, and to implement more good deeds, and increase in our levels of faith.

Throughout the year, Allah (swt) provides us with golden opportunities to renew our faith and encourage acts of goodness by specifying special days with special rewards, like the the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. These days of Dhul-Hijjah make a way for those who feel they did not perform to the optimum level they had hoped for in Ramadan to make up for any shortcomings.

Conversely,

Doing wrong in this month, especially to people, increases the degree of sin more than the same act in other months.. Therefore, the first 10days of Dhul-Hijjah will come and go as do the days of life. So we should utilise them in the highest and best possible way.

My people,

Here are some of the established practices of these blessed days for us to incorporate into our worship, and lessons we can take from these days:

*Number 1:* Pray at night - and fast during the day

It’s been two months since the last ten nights of Ramadan, and many of us have missed the ‘spiritual high’ of seeking out Laylat al-Qadr through our nightly worship. Yes  But did you know that praying at night for the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah is somehow equivalent to praying on Laylat al-Qadr?. Yes. It's true

Evidence:

The Prophet (pbuh) said, *‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days’.* 📚[Abu Dawud]

Brother & Sister,

The above hadith shows that Allah loves to be worshipped on these ten days, and one of the best ways to ensure you maximise your worship is by fasting all day and praying Tahajjud at night!. Yes. When you sacrifice food, drink and sleep for Allah’s sake, you are truly reaping the benefits of these blessed days.

*Number 2:* Give more Sadaqah

Not only are these the most beloved days to Allah - but He loves to be worshipped on them, and for us to put extra effort into doing good deeds during these days. This efforts should include helping in the spread of the messages of Allah (swt) and His Rasool (pbuh) to millions of Ummah worldwide, helping people in need even without begging you for help, to mention but few - these actions become more valuable during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah.

Servants of Allah!

Many of us maximise our Sadaqah during the last ten nights of Ramadan, but the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are just as valuable. Yes. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to earn extra rewards for simple good deeds.

To be continued

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
