بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

From a long hadith narrated by Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: *“Three persons of a people before you, were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm and therefore they took shelter in a cave. A rock slipped down from the mountain and blocked the exit from cave. One of the 3 men supplicated: 🙏 “O Lord, I had a cousin that I loved more passionately than any man could love a woman. I tried to seduce her but she would refuse, till in a season of great hardship due to famine, she approached me (for help) and I gave her one hundred and twenty Dinars on the condition that she would have sexual intercourse with me. She agreed, and when we got together and I was just going to have intercourse with her, she pleaded, ‘Fear Allah, and do not break the seal unlawfully’, whereupon I moved away from her, despite the fact that I desired her most passionately; and I let her keep the money I had given her... So, O Lord, if I did this thing seeking only your pleasure, then do move the distress in which we find ourselves.”.. Then, the rock moved a little to let them pass out"*.📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 3465, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 2473

*Lessons from the above hadeeth:*

We learn from the story - (1) the importance of good deed and abstaining from sin (2) Using good deeds done to get our Du'a skyrocketedly accepted.

Slaves of Allah!

We should pause here and ask ourselves – What good deeds have we done that we can relate to Allah and ask mercy from Him?.

Furthermore,

Your problems or life challenges is only big to you and not to Allah (swt). Yes. If Allah (swt) can move the big rock away from the cave, if Allah (swt) can bring out Yunus from the belly of large fish, then, our troubles are nothing compared to them.

Unfortunately today,

We get hopeless even in small difficulty and we begin to curse our fate our destiny. We ask questions like, “Why me?” and do so many things that Allah dislikes. Shouldn’t we turn to Allah instead?

My people!

Another thing i would like to draw our attention to is - *"LEAVING ANY ACT OF DISOBEDIENCE FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH"* - and get not only Allah's blessings but get closer to Allah.

Did you remember the hadeeth below?

*“Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty but that Allah will replace it with something better.”* Source: Musnad Aḥmad 22565

Meaning,

When a person abandons sin for the sake of Allah, he/she will be rewarded by Allah Ta’ala with something better. Yes. Allah alone Knows whats ‘better’ for each person. It could be the same item being acquired via halal avenues, and it could also be anything else that Allah Ta’ala deemed as ‘better’ for this person.

In fact,

He who gives up them sincerely for the sake of Allah will not find it difficult to give them up except at the beginning. Yes. This is for him to be tested – is he sincere in giving them up, so if he bears this hardship for a short period patiently, it turns to pleasure. And the greater the desire for the forbidden, the greater the soul is desirous to do it😃, and the more the reasons are there to commit it; then, the greater the reward is when applying self-restraint, getting rid of desires & abandoning it.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
