Purify Your Heart — A Message from the Prophet (SAW)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Verily, in the body there is a piece of flesh which, if it is sound, the entire body is sound; and if it is corrupt, the entire body is corrupt. Verily, it is the heart.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 52; Sahih Muslim, 1599)
This hadith is short, but deep.
Rasulullah (SAW) teaches us that the heart is the center of everything. If our heart is clean, our words, actions, and intentions will also be clean. But if the heart is filled with arrogance, jealousy, hatred, or hypocrisy, then everything else becomes poisoned.
So how do we purify the heart?
Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) softens the heart.
Tawbah (repentance) washes away the stains of sin.
Ikhlas (sincerity) purifies your intentions.
Good company keeps your heart alive.
Avoiding envy, grudges, and arrogance protects your spiritual health.
Remember, the heart is the king, and the limbs are its soldiers. If the king is righteous, the army will follow in goodness.
Start today. Clean your heart. Protect it like a treasure. Because a sound heart is your key to Jannah.
