Their plan was to steal into the Holy Prophet's camp, and pierce him with arrows. Ali kept the watch hidden in a safe place. When at nightfall the party appeared Ali foil on them and sliced off Urwa's head. Ali, thereafter fought single handed with the followers of Urwa till some warriors from the Muslim camp joined him, and all Jews were exterminated.Under the orders of the Holy Prophet, the severed heads of Urwa and his followers were hung outside the citadel of the Jews. The Banu Nadeer had expected help from other Jews and the hypocrites of Madina. The Holy Prophet blocked all ways from which any help could reach the beleaguered Jews.

The siege dragged on for eleven days, and when no help came from outside, the Banu Nadeer lost heart and surrendered. According to the Jewish law, all male members of the Jews could be killed and their women and children could be enslaved. The Holy Prophet took a lenient view. They were required to evacuate the settlement and migrate to Syria or elsewhere. They could carry movable property with them except arms.

The Jews accepted these terms and they migrated to Syria. The immovable property left by them was distributed among the Muhajirs. In the operations against the Banu Nadeer, Ali played a conspicuous role. It was his action against Urwa and his followers that demoralized the Jews and led to the ultimate victory of the Muslims. During this expenditure, some palm-trees were cut down was done by Allah's command to humiliate and disgrace the obedient. And that's the connection between the incident and the verse.

*Let's continue on some commentary on these verses*👇.                         [28:7] Al-Qaṣaṣ-

And We revealed to the heart of the mother of Musa (Moses): ‘Suckle him on, but when you fear (for his life), put him afloat into the river, and be not afraid (of this situation) nor grieve. Surely, We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of Our Messengers.’
___*PAGE 5*___.

Then Pharaoh’s family picked him up (from the river) so that (by the will of Allah) he proved for them an enemy and (a cause of) grief. Surely, Pharaoh, Haman and their armies were the evildoers.
___*PAGE 6*___.

And the wife of Pharaoh said (on seeing Musa [Moses]): ‘(This child) is coolness of eyes for me and for you; do not kill him. He may perhaps bring us benefit or we may adopt him as a son.’ And they were unaware (of the outcome of this plan).
___*PAGE 7*___.
✍️...

And the heart of Musa’s (Moses’s) mother felt empty (of patience). And she would nearly have disclosed the secret (owing to her impatience), had We not energized her heart with the strength of peace and patience so that she might remain one of the firm believers (in Allah’s promise).
___*PAGE 8*___.
✍️...

And We had in advance prohibited him from the feed of wet nurses. So (Musa’s [Moses’s] sister) said: ‘Shall I tell you about a family who will bring up this (child) for you and will (also) be his well-wisher?’.

So (this way) We returned Musa (Moses) to his mother so that her eyes might keep cool and so that she might not feel grieved and in order that she might know (with certitude) that Allah’s promise is true but most of the people do not know.

And Musa (Moses) entered the city (in Egypt) at a time when its people were lying (asleep) unaware. There he found two men fighting with each other, one from his (own) party (the Children of Israel), and the other from his enemies (the people of Pharaoh). The man from his own party asked him for help against the other who was from his enemies. So Musa (Moses) struck him with his fist and killed him. (Then) he said: ‘This is Satan’s work (which I have committed); no doubt he is an open, misleading enemy.’

(Musa [Moses]) submitted: ‘O my Lord, no doubt I have wronged my soul; so bless me with forgiveness.’ Then He forgave him. Surely, He is the Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...

IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE An obligation upon every Muslim

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖  Allah ﷻ says  *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations. Qatadah رحمه الله said, _"Allah paraded the objects before the angels"_ *فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ* _And said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful."_ [2:31] This was said to the Angels who in the previous verse said : *أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَآءَ* _Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood._ [2:30] _ So they the Angels said  *قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَكَ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلاَّ مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِي...
