COMMENTARY AND TAFSIR OF THE VERSES OF THE GLORIOUS QURAN (Episode 80)

 Muslims Till Death:

AS SALAAMU ALAYKUM WARAHMATULLAH WABARAKAATUHU. LET'S START TONIGHT'S EDUCATION. OUR TOPIC IS 👇.                                                                                *COMMENTARY AND TAFSIR OF THE VERSES OF THE GLORIOUS QURAN (Episode 80)*

Sunday 29th June 2025.
4 Muharram 1447 AH

The last verse means to show that disbelief has not only blinded their intellect but has destroyed their moral sense, too.
_*They neither have the right thought about Allah nor do they adopt the right attitude towards the people.*_
▪ They react adversely to every admonition, follow a perverse philosophy in respite of every deviation and immorality and have a ready-made pretense for escape from every good.
___*PAGE 2*___.
✍️...

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                           [18:2] Al-Kahf-

(He made it) straight and moderate so that he might warn (the disbelievers) of fierce torment (coming) from Allah, and give good news to the believers who do pious deeds that for them is excellent reward (Paradise),
___*PAGE 3*___.
✍️...

_Something which seems apparently straight may not be completely free from crookedness? What happens to even sturdy trees after a long period of time? They gradually bend, bit by bit._
▪ *In this Ayah, Allah affirms the Qur’an uprightness [Qayyiman], and this word emphasizes the negation of any deviation in the Qur’an.*
*If we follow societies’ whims and fancy, we will surely deviate. But those who remain straight across generations are the ones who hold on tightly to the Qur’an (and Sunnah)*
___*PAGE 4*___.
✍️...

_The following sequence of the ayah says that the Qur’an warns the disbelievers of a severe punishment from Allah and brings good news to the believers who do righteous good deeds that they will be rewarded with Jannah_.
Notice the sequence of the ayah:..... *“…to give glad tidings to the believers [al-mu’minun] who do righteous deeds…”*
The word [al-mu’minun] comes from the word [iman], which means faith or belief.
▪ *Scholars say that this is an evidence that our iman / belief MUST be accompanied with good deeds.*
_This is an important lesson, because some may think “As long as I’m a Muslim, Allah will forgive me so I don’t have to worry".
___*PAGE 5*___.
✍️...

_They do not bother to work in becoming a better slave of Allah just because they think having Iman suffices_
They may wonder, isn’t “Laa ilaaha illAllah” the key to Jannah?
_*A scholar of the salaf was asked the same question, and he answered: Yes, but will a key without its teeth open anything?*_

May Allah s.w.t. help us to constantly become a better slave of Allah s.w.t. Allahumma ameen.
___*PAGE 6*___.
✍️...

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.

*(4:142) Behold, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is they who are being deluded by Him.*

*When they rise to Prayer, they rise reluctantly, and only to be seen by men. They remember Allah but little.*
__*PAGE 7*__.

In the time of the Prophet ﷺ no one, unless he prayed regularly, could be reckoned as belonging to the Islamic community_
(All associations consider the absence of any member from their meetings, without a valid excuse, a sign of lack of interest, and that in the event of continued absence, they cancel his membership)

_The early Islamic community did the same with those who absented themselves from congregational Prayers_
____*PAGE 8*____.
✍️...

_In those days a person's absence from congregational Prayers was considered a clear indication of his indifference towards Islam, If he absented himself from them repeatedly he was no longer held to be a Muslim.                                                                ▪ In those days, therefore, even the worst hypocrites had to attend the five daily Prayers in the mosque.
▪ What distinguished a true believer from the hypocrite was that the former came to the mosque with devotion, fervour and eagerness, came there well before the appointed time for the Prayer, and did not rush out of the mosque as soon as the Prayer was over.
____*PAGE 9*____.
✍️...

▪ Whereas the call to the Prayer for the hypocrite seemed like the announcement of an unavoidable calamity. When such a person set off for the mosque, he seemed to do so in spite of himself. He walked as if he were dragging the entire weight of his being.
No wonder, then, that as soon as the Prayer was over, he escaped like a prisoner released from jail.
_What do we do🤔_
__*PAGE 10*__.

   *Let's continue on this verse*👇.

*O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before.*
*And whoever disbelieves in Allah , His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray. [Surah Nisa, verse 136]*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
