Wealth is from Allah not our hardworking or mentally

 Many people do say if someone has no wealth or in poverty, he is not hardworking or has no plan in life. There are many people who had no knowledge but are blessed with wealth.

Wealth is from Allah not our hardworking or mentally 

When Qarun was asked to fear Allah and know the wealth he had is a test from Allah, his reply was that my knowledge gave me the wealth.

Allah says,

Al-Qasas 28:78

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عِندِيٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ أَهۡلَكَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مَنۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُ قُوَّةࣰ وَأَكۡثَرُ جَمۡعࣰاۚ وَلَا يُسۡئَلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allāh had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked.[1]

Allah says does he not know there are some who are greater than him in power but were destroyed.

This is the mentality of majority of the wealthy people, they always think their wealth is from their hardworking and not a provision from Allah.

Allah gives and restrict the wealth of every man.

Allah says,

Ar-Ra'd 13:26

ٱللَّهُ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ وَفَرِحُواْ بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَٰعࣱ

Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.

Those who are made poor should be patient and the poverty can be a trial for them to enter Jannah and those having wealth too should spend it in the path of Allah and give to the poor ones and it will be a trial for their Jannah.
