Night Wastages

 *Night Wastages*

------------------

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

"Night Wastages" could describe a night where someone fails to take advantage of opportunities, misses important events or experiences, or lets the entire hours in the night slip away without shopping for the hearafter.

My people!

It's agreed that "Sleep" is an important part of living and is a way of recharging our batteries to prepare ourself to continue our daily activities. But squandering the entire hours of the night sleeping without joining PRIVILEGED and SINCERE servants of Allah (worldwide) in establishing "Night Prayer" or "Tahajjud", suggests that the night have not been better spent or utilized in a more productive way.

Yes!

You might be good in series of acts of worship BUT if you are not amongst Muslims who CONSISTENTLY pray Tahajjud, then, sorry! Yes. Sorry because you are lacking something huge.

Evidence:

Salim bin
Abdullah bin
Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported, on the authority of his father, that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “What an excellent man
Abdullah is! If only he could be performing optional prayers at night.” Salim said that after this, (his father)
Abdullah slept very little at night. 📚 Al-Bukhari and Muslim

*Lessons from the above Hadith:*

This Hadith points out the excellence of
Abdullah bin
Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) as well as the merits of establishing Tahajjud. It also tells us that it is permissible to praise someone in his presence if one is sure that he will not become proud due to that praise. Another aspect of this Hadith is that it's permissible to use someone else's positive lifestyles to motivate others.

This reminds me,

Today, Abdallah, the person I always use as example for Tahajjud will be 11years old in Tahajjud business. Yes. He did not miss waking up for Tahajjud in 11years EXCEPT for 3 nights. And it's not that he did not wake up at all for 3 nights in 11years. No!.. It's just that, he woke up very late. According to this my friend, he considered those 3 nights he woke up late for Tahajjud as a missed nights.. Allahu Akbar

Muslim Faithful!

Allah (swt) knows humans are so busy at day time, and because they will choose to do nothing in the night other than sleeping, HE blessed us with an act of worship that ONLY the PRIVILEGED will sacrifice few minutes, out of the hours of the night to do.

Therefore,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. Allah (swt) loves consistency in any act of worship. And waking up everyday for Tahajjud is not something difficult.. Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah.. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...
