DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-Khamis, 8th day of Muharram 1447AH, Thursday, 3rd July 2025.
*_THE HIDDEN BLESSINGS OF ILLNESSES, SICKNESSES and HARDSHIPS_*. BismilLah.
Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated that ALLAH'S Messenger Salallahu alayhi wasallam said, “On the Day of Resurrection, when people who have suffered affliction on earth are given their reward, those who were always healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world.” (Al-Tirmidhi, 1570).
SubhanAllah, whatever pain we suffer in this life is not in vain as Muslims. It is not wasted. *_ALLAH the Most High has a plan for us, and HE is the best of planners_*. We must have faith in HIM and HIS plan for us. Any form of hardship is an expiation for our sins to be wiped so that we can enter Jannatul Firdaus without any sins. We must pray for good health always but if any illness or sickness afflicts us, we must be patient and rather seek forgiveness regularly and in shaaALLAH it may end up as a blessing in disguise.
*_We ask ALLAH, AL-GHAFFAR (The All- and Oft-Forgiving) to have mercy on us all and forgive our sins_*. Aameen.
