The Spirit of Generosity

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *The Spirit of Generosity* Sayyiduna Hakeem bin Hizaam (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) is a Sahaabi of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) who was blessed with an extraordinarily long life – he passed away at the age of one hundred and twenty! Another unique aspect of his life is that he was born inside the Ka’bah! He was among the leaders of the Quraish and was regarded to be wise and intelligent. When the leaders of the Quraish would enter Daarun Nadwah (the place of council) in order to hold meetings and discuss the affairs of Makkah Mukarramah and its people, then only those people who were forty years of age or older were allowed to participate in the discussion and give their suggestions. However, Sayyiduna Hakeem (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) was an exception to this rule. On account of his wisdom and intelligence, he was admitted into Daarun Nadwah at the age of fifteen! Among his many good qualities, one quality t...

True Message

*True Message* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It doesn't mean that someone who frequently remembers or talk about death is ready to or will die soon. Also, it doesn't mean that someone who completely forgets about or talk about death will not die soon. What matters most is living in this world 🌎 as a someone who have not completely lost focus on the journey he or she have embarked on. This reminds me, A brother visited one of the graveyards and narrated a story of what he saw on the sign-board of that graveyard while entering the graveyard and while going out of the graveyard. Honestly speaking, the messages on that graveyard sign-board should touch every Muslim who have an ATOM of fear of Allah (swt). Yes. Guess what anybody entering and or going out of that particular graveyard will read on the graveyard sign-board: *"We were once like you"* *"You will soon be like us"* 😢😢 Anyone who have ever visited a graveyard for any reason will affirm t...

WHATEVER WE WANT

FAJR REMINDER: WHATEVER WE WANT… By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 26, 1447 (14-April-2026) The disbelievers have long made it a habit to test the Messengers and the believers, seeking to challenge the truth of Islām. Yet, how can one truly test a man who is taught by Allāh and granted knowledge far beyond human understanding? Thawbān (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated that a Jewish rabbi once came to question the Prophet (ﷺ) about certain matters. The Jew asked: “What will be presented to them (i.e. the people of Jannah) first when they enter Paradise? He said: “Caudate lobe of whale liver.” He said: “What food will be given to them after that? He said: “The bull of Paradise, which used to graze along its edge, will be slaughtered for them.” He said: “What will their drink be?” He said: “From a spring there that is called Salsabīl.” [Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 315] Indeed, Jannah (Paradise) is a place of pure enjoyment, where its people will delight in eating and drinking without hardship or limitation. Allāh s...

MEN AND WOMEN IN PARADISE

FAJR REMINDER: MEN AND WOMEN IN PARADISE By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 25, 1447 (13-April-2026) Men and women share equally in the promise of Jannah (Paradise). Whoever truly believes, performs righteous deeds, and dies upon Eemān (Belief)—whether male or female—will be granted entry into Paradise. This is a clear and beautiful assurance from Allāh: “Allāh has promised to the believers – men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of ‘Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allāh. That is the supreme success.” [Sūrah At-Tawbah (9): 72] Furthermore, the blessings of Jannah include being reunited with one’s righteous spouse. A man who enters Paradise will be joined by his believing wife (or wives) who also attained it. Allāh says: “Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness.” [Sūrah Az-Zukhruf (43): 70] And He also says: “They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.” [...

THE ILLUSION OF REFLECTION

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ ` * *THE ILLUSION OF REFLECTION* Once there was a king who had presented his daughter, the princess, with a beautiful diamond necklace. The necklace went missing & his people in the kingdom searched everywhere but could not find it. Some said a bird might have stolen it. The king then put a reward for $50,000 for anyone who found it. One day a clerk was walking home along a river next to an industrial area. This river was completely polluted, filthy & smelly. As he was walking, he saw something shimmering in the river . To his surprise it was the diamond necklace. He felt so happy. If only he could get the necklace out, that would mean the $50,000 reward would be his. He put his hand into the filthy river & grabbed at the necklace, but somehow missed it.Taking his hand out, he looked again. The necklace was still there. He tried again & again. Just when he thought he caught it, he missed. Finally he decided to wade into t...

Stolen Blessings* [[---- Part 3 ----]]

*Stolen Blessings* [[---- Part 3 ----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم We often fall into the trap of believing that success is a simple formula: hard work + talent + opportunity = desired outcome. While these elements are important, for a Muslim, they are merely the visible tools. The true, unseen force that gives these tools their efficacy is Barakah—the blessing of Allah. My People, Allah's blessings are not just in wealth, but in time, health, peace of mind, and spiritual contentment. However, these blessings are not unconditional. They are a trust from Allah, and our actions can either increase them or cause them to be diminished or even removed. The Quran and Sunnah highlight several actions that can lead to this spiritual poverty: *Action No 1:* Ingratitude (Kufr al-Ni'mah): This is the primary cause. Failing to acknowledge that every good we have is from Allah, and instead attributing success to our own intellect or effort, is a grave form of ungratefulness....

Life will go on

*Life will go on* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم When you pass away, do not worry about your dead body as fellow Muslims will take good care of it. They will take off your clothes, wash your body up, and wrap it in a clean white shroud. They will take you to your new house, the grave. Many are those who will escort you to your final resting place; many will even cancel their businesses to see you off. You can rest easy knowing that the world will not collapse or even mourn you; life will go on, and your job will be taken by another. Your spouse will be taken by another. Your property will be legally distributed among your heirs whereas you will be brought to account for every moment of life in this world. According to the degree of affinity with others, the period they will spend to mourn you will vary. Eventually, you will be completely forgotten and assigned a special place on the shelf of memories. Believe it or not, the above is nothing but the truth! Hence, your st...

THE HOURIS OF JANNAH

FAJR REMINDER: THE HOURIS OF JANNAH By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 24, 1447 (12-April-2026) How delightful and breathtaking Jannah (Paradise) truly is! Its beauty and comfort are so overwhelming that even the one with the least share of its blessings will feel as though he possesses the greatest fortune of all. Abū Sa’īd Al-Khudri (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The lowest of people in status in Paradise will be a man whose face Allāh turns away from the Fire towards Paradise, and shows him a tree giving shade. He will say, ‘O Lord, bring me closer to that tree so that I may be in its shade… Then he will enter his house (in Paradise) and his two wives (from among Al-Ḥūr al-'ayn) with large and dark eyes will come in and will say to him, ‘Praise be to Allāh who brought you to life for us and brought us to life for you.’ Then he will say, ‘No one has been given what I have been given.’” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 188] From the immense favors that Allāh has prepared for the believ...

THE HIDDEN GUARDIAN

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *`` ` * *THE HIDDEN GUARDIAN* Ibn Jad'aan had many camels, at that time it was considered the ultimate wealth of the Arabs. During Spring times Ibn Jad’aan used to go out. He would see good and healthy fat camels and their udders filled to the extent of almost exploding. Whenever the little offspring (i.e. the calf) came close to the mother camel, her milk would pour forth because of the great abundance of blessings and abundance of goodness. So, I (Ibn Jad’aan) looked at one of my she camels with her healthy calf, whose udder was so full of milk and I remembered my poor neighbour who had seven young daughters. So, I said to myself, by Allah I will give this camel and her calf as Sadaqah (charity) to my neighbour – and he recited the Ayah where Allah said: لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ *“By no means Shall you Attain piety and righteousness unless you spend in Allah’s cause of which that y...

THE DUMB BOY

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   ` * *THE DUMB BOY* There was once a rich man with tremendous wealth. He was a landlord. However, the man had a dumb son who had very little intelligence. The people called the son a stupid. One day, the rich man called his son & told him to make him some tea. When the son brought the tea to his father, the father took one sip from the cup & to his surprise, it was very delicious. He asked his son about how the tea was made. The son replied, “I went to the backyard to look for some firewood. But, since it was raining, all the wood was wet. So, I went to the place where u store your money & picked up a lot of notes. Then I burnt all the paper money to make the tea.” The father was horrified...The tea that tasted very good in the beginning to him now tasted like poison. All of us reading this story is thinking that the son is indeed really dumb. Why???... Because he burnt money just to make a cup of tea. But let's think d...

A RECAP ABOUT BINT AL-ḤĀRITH

FAJR REMINDER: A RECAP ABOUT BINT AL-ḤĀRITH By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 23, 1447 (11-April-2026) She grew up as a princess in her father’s home and later became a queen in the household of her husband. More importantly, she was a sincere and courageous servant of Allāh. Through her marriage to the Prophet (ﷺ), she was elevated to the noble rank of being among the Mothers of the Believers. What a tremendous honor granted to our mother, Juwayriyah Bint Al-Ḥārith (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha)! Her life was a shining example of devotion and righteousness. She passed away in the year 50 A.H at the age of sixty-five, and her funeral prayer was led by Marwān Ibn al-Ḥakam, who was the Governor of Madīnah at the time. Juwayriyah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) was well known for her commitment to Ṣalāt (prayer), Sawm (fasting), and giving Ṣadaqah (charity). Like the other wives of the Prophet (ﷺ), she was remarkably generous. These are qualities every Muslim should strive to embody and uphold. Indeed, prayer, fasting...
