*DU'Ā : THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON OF THE BELIEVER (91)*
Allāhummaj-‘al hubbaka ahabbal-‘ashyā’i ilayy(a),waj-‘al khashyataka akhwafal-‘ashyā’i ‘indī, waq-ţa’ ’annī hājātid-dunyā bish-shawqi ilā liqā’ik(a), wa idhā aqrarta a’yuna ahlid-dunyā min dunyāhum fa aqrir ‘aynī min’ibādatik.
O Allah, make Your love the dearest and make Your fear the most frightening of all things to me. Cut off worldly needs from me by giving me the longing to meet You. And as You bring comfort to the eyes of the men of the world with their worldly possessions, bring comfort to my eyes with Your obedience and worship.
*Thought For The Day*
It’s easy to remember Allāh when calamity strikes. Even the disbeliever screams, “Oh God!!” in fear when they think they’re about to die. It’s in times when we are living well, without calamities, that we should be grateful and remember Almighty Allāh, and that’s the challenge.
