﷽
*Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 115:*
And to Allāh belong the east and the west, so wherever you turn yourselves or your faces there is the Face of Allāh (that is, you will face Allāh whichsoever direction you turn your face and He is High above, over His Throne). Surely! Allāh is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing.
﷽
*Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 116:*
And they (Jews, Christians and pagans) say: Allāh has begotten a son (children or offspring). Glory be to Him (Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him.
*COMMENTARY*
It is a derogation from the glory of Allāh - in fact it is blasphemy - to say that Allāh begets sons, like a man or an animal. The Christian doctrine is here emphatically repudiated. If words have any meaning. It would mean an attribution to Allāh of a material nature, and of the lower animal functions of sex.
