Pearls Of Motivation

*Pearls Of Motivation* When we feel weak or overwhelmed, seek refuge in Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). Nothing’s too much for Him. He’s in control. He’ll always see us through. Habits Of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ* Along with Ramadan,Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also used to fast in Sha'aban extensively.

The Problems of the Muslim Ummah Today

*The Problems of the Muslim Ummah Today.* ◉ Disunity ~ One of the predicted calamities that was said to befall the ummah 1400 years ago is disunity among Muslims. Today, we have divided ourselves into thousands of pieces. Wise people say united we stand and divided we fall. One of the mains reasons why we fail long ago is lack of unity among Muslims. Despite having one Allah, one qibla, one Qur’an, yet we are divided. The Hindus have over 3 million gods, the Christians have 3 gods, yet they stand with one another to fight their common enemy. For us, Muslims sell their own Muslim brothers. ◉ Islamic fanaticism ~ One of the worst diseases of our time is Islamic fanaticism. Islamic fanaticism goes along with extremism. People associate every minor issue to religion. Man beat his wife and use religion, someone would just call you kafir for not practicing maulud, or vice versa. People would hold jannah and jahannam, assign you to one based on their merit. You see someone calling you kafir

THE THREE RIGHTS Do you fulfil them?

﷽ ➖➖➖ *THE THREE RIGHTS* ➖➖➖ *Do you fulfil them?* ➖➖➖ ➖➖➖ There are 3 Rights which are incumbent upon you to fulfil, otherwise you will fail in life and in death. *1. The Right of Allah ﷻ* The Right of Allah ﷻ over His slaves is that His slaves  do not associate with Him, obey Him in everything and avoid engaging in disobedience. As Allah ﷻ says  *أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ* _Obey Allah and Obey His Messenger ﷺ_ [4:59] To know Allah ﷻ so that you may worship Him correctly and in the best way possible also falls into this category. So Seek Knowledge!  Logically, how else will you obey Allah ﷻ if you don't know Halal from Haram?  And as Prophet ﷺ said _"To worship Allah ﷻ as if you see Him, meaning with Khushoo' and even though you don't see Him, know that He sees you"_ [Sahih Al-Bukhari] Wallahi! When we slack in Khushoo' in our 'Amaal, we haven't fulfilled the Right of Allah ﷻ over us and there is a hole in it!  Why should we expect a

Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer Part 12. People of the Cave

﷽ *Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer* *Part 12* *People of the Cave* Allah the Almighty says: {Do you think that the people of the Cave and the Inscription (the news or the names of the people of the Cave) were a wonder among Our Signs? (Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave. They said: "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!" Therefore, We covered up their (sense of) hearing (causing them to go in deep sleep) in the Cave for a number of years. Then We raised them up (from their sleep), that We might test which of the two parties was best at calculating the time period that they had tarried. We narrate unto you (0 Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) their story with truth: Truly they were young men who believed in their Lord (Allah), and We increased them in guidance. And We made their hearts firm and strong (with the light of Faith in Allah and bestowed upon them patience

SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It) Episode 32

﷽ *SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It)* *Episode 32* *Forbiddance of Reciting the Qur'aan in Sujood* He (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) used to forbid recitation of the Qur'aan in rukoo' and sujood, and commanded striving in, and a lot of, supplication in this posture, as explained previously under "Rukoo'". He also used to say, The slave is closest to his Lord when he is prostrating, so increase supplication [in it].488 Lengthening the Sajdah He (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) would make his sujood about as long as his rukoo', and sometimes he would make it extremely long due to the circumstances, as one of his Companions said:  "The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) came out to us for one of the two later prayers, [Zuhr or 'Asr,] carrying Hasan or Husain. The Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) then came to the front and put him do

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 311 10 HABITS OF HAPPY MUSLIM COUPLES (Part 2)

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 311* 10 HABITS OF HAPPY MUSLIM COUPLES  (Part 2) 2. They are grateful for each other. If there is one fundamental need that exists in every single human relationship, it is the need to feel relevant and appreciated. And there is no other relationship where this need is as grossly overlooked and abused, as in marriage. Why does this happen? Is it because humans tend to take things for granted, especially when they’re done by those closest to them? When you’re newly married, every single thing your spouse does for you feels so special. As time goes by, your husband going out to work hard and earn for the family becomes normal; and a few years later it becomes “his duty anyway”. Similarly, every meal your new bride cooks is delightful, then somehow the salt always seems to keep getting lesser, till eventually she’s “not doing anyone a favour by just doing her job”. Sounds familiar? Oh yes, ungrateful Muslim spouse speaking right t

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 157 and 158

Or lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: "If only the Book had been sent down to us, we would surely have been better guided than they (Jews and Christians)." SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn 15th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Monday 30th November. 2020). *_SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED_*. Bismillah. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. We MUST strive to say Alhamdulillah regularly regardless of any situation you find yourself and always remember those you are better than not those above you in anything. Back to our topic.  Before climbing onto bed, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on your right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times. It's sunnah fro

Do not refuse a wing to the person who gave you a full chicken

*🌴Peace be upon you all.*        *Do not refuse a wing to the person who gave you a full chicken* *It's amazing how we can so soon forget the good people do for us. And it's interesting how hard it is to forget the evil done to us. As a result of these tendencies, we have to make conscious effort to remember the good people do for us and to forgive the evil done us. Of course you have the choice to decide whether or not you forgive wrong and remember the good done to you. But you have to remember that the life lived on the terms of unforgiveness and ingratitude will in the end prove worthless. So my advise is, have a short-term memory for wrong done against you and a long-term memory for the good done for you. Like George Bernard Shaw said beautifully and metaphorically, " Write your sad times in sand, Write your good times in stone." When people wholeheartedly and unreservedly help you in your dire moment, the least you can do for them is to to say thank you. Note t

When you point a finger there are three fingers pointing back at you"

*🌴Peace be upon you all.*        *"When you point a finger there are three fingers pointing back at you"* *The easiest job to do in this world is finding fault in people. It's so easy, it needs no training to do. Even kids can do it. But as easy as it is to find fault , we must put a restrain on ourselves for multiple reasons. The major reason is this, we often see in others a reflection of our own selves. For instance, the more conceited or selfish or boastful or wicked a person is the easier it is to spot it is others. Not only that, the more of a bad quality a person has, the more he or she hates it in others. Because we cannot bear the ugly nature in ourselves, we instinctively want to transfer the ugliness we feel about ourselves or reallocate the guilt we feel in ourselves onto someone else. This is why we must pause long enough to look in the mirror before finding fault in others. You have no business criticizing others of a criticism you cannot take yourself or

You can hide alcohol in a bottle but not in the belly.

*🌴Peace be upon you all.*        *You can hide alcohol in*  *a bottle but not in the belly.* *Drinking is undoubtedly a controversial topic. And often people who do not engage in it assume a judgmental approach towards those who do. Well, I do not wish to take that approach. As I have often done, I want to reason with you. I am going to do so, not from a religious point of view but from a physiological view point. Did you know that there is no place to store alcohol in our bodies the way food is stored? So what happens then when you drink? Our body sees the alcohol as a threat, needing immediate resistance and expulsion. And since it's the liver's job to get rid of toxic substances in the body, it takes on this task leaving other crucial tasks like producing glucose. And you know, glucose is needed for the brain to function well. That's why a lot of people can't think straight and become on edge when their glucose level is low. But it appears as if the problem will be

Six Exception to Backbiting

🌴Praise be to Allah Almighty.         *Six Exception to Backbiting*     *____________________*       ```Very Important``` *Although backbiting is a major sin and should be avoided at all times, there are six situations, under certain circumstances, in which backbiting is deemed to be permissible.* *1. Times of oppression* *It is permissible for an individual who has been oppressed or wronged to complain to a person of authority or any well-known person who can assist in the situation by removing the oppression and helping the oppressed receive justice against the oppressor. However, we should avoid going around complaining to different people about this particular person just for the purpose of venting or complaining.* - *2. Seeking advice or fatwa* *It is permissible to seek advice from a scholar regarding a particular person you are having problems with in order to receive advice or religious ruling on the situation. For example, “My wife did such and such to me” or “my husband did

Types of Backbiting

🌴Praise be to Allah Almighty.            *Types of Backbiting*     *____________________*       ```Very Important``` *The truth is, many of us are guilty of backbiting, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and although we do recognize that it is a major sin in Islam, most of us, at times, can take it lightly and perceive it as insignificant or no big deal.* *However, the Prophet ( ﷺ ) clearly warned us against it: "A Qattat (backbiter) will not enter Paradise." (Bukhari 6056)* *It's important to know that there are different types of backbiting so let's try to understand them so that we may avoid committing this sin as much as possible:* *1. The Common Backbiting* *The messenger of Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ ) once asked the Companions: “Do you know what backbiting is?”* *They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Saying something about your brother that he dislikes.” It was said, “What if what I say about my brother is true?” He said, “If what you say is

Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer Part 11 Gog and Magog

﷽ *Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer* *Part 11* *Gog and Magog* Allah the Almighty says: {They said: "0 Dhul-Qarnain! Verily Ya'juj and Ma 'juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?" He said: "That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord had established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier. "Give me pieces (blocks) of iron;" then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: "Blow;" then when he had made them (red as) fire, he said: "Bring me molten copper to pour over them." So they (Ya 'juj and Ma 'juj (Gog and Magog)] could not scale it or dig through it. (Dhul-Qarnain) said: "This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise o

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 310 10 HABITS OF HAPPY MUSLIM COUPLES (Part 1)

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 310* 10 HABITS OF HAPPY MUSLIM COUPLES (Part 1) What does it take to stay Muslim, married and extremely happy today? As oxymoronic as that just sounded, believe it or not, it’s absolutely possible! Marriage, especially for Muslims, is a lot more than having someone to call a husband or wife. The marital relationship is an incredible blessing and divine sign, as Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’an: “ And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” [Qur’an: Chapter 30, Verse 21] The whole purpose of having a spouse is to find tranquility in and with them; and our relationships with our spouses have signs that Allah Ta’ala is asking us to give thought to. How are some Muslim couples finding this tranquility in their marriage while many others seem to be having a miserable time
