The Problems of the Muslim Ummah Today

*The Problems of the Muslim Ummah Today.*

◉ Disunity ~ One of the predicted calamities that was said to befall the ummah 1400 years ago is disunity among Muslims. Today, we have divided ourselves into thousands of pieces. Wise people say united we stand and divided we fall. One of the mains reasons why we fail long ago is lack of unity among Muslims. Despite having one Allah, one qibla, one Qur’an, yet we are divided. The Hindus have over 3 million gods, the Christians have 3 gods, yet they stand with one another to fight their common enemy. For us, Muslims sell their own Muslim brothers.

◉ Islamic fanaticism ~ One of the worst diseases of our time is Islamic fanaticism. Islamic fanaticism goes along with extremism. People associate every minor issue to religion. Man beat his wife and use religion, someone would just call you kafir for not practicing maulud, or vice versa. People would hold jannah and jahannam, assign you to one based on their merit. You see someone calling you kafir bcos you bought a TV at Black Friday sales. The list goes on and on. Today bcos of religious fanaticism and extremism, Muslims around the world are facing constant restrictions and harassment. Women are constantly chastised for being Muslims. All bcos of religious fanatics, who want American and Europe to practice shariah law.

◉ Haram Police ~ These are as dangerous as fanatics. Most of them don't pray 5 times a day, they hardly recite fatiha, they lock themselves in the room and watch porn then delete their browser history. Yet, a sister just accepted Islam few weeks ago and they are calling her kafir for not wearing hijab. Everything is haram for them, whether it is true or not. As if they themselves don't commit sin. Many people left Islam bcos of haram police. Bcos they haramize every action. You can't eat pizza, they call you kafir. They are here and there looking at women with bum shorts, but as soon as a Muslim sister wear makeup, they start their haram attack.

◉ Division among Ulamas ~ Today some of our scholars don't see eye to eye, they are divided on every issue. We practice one religion, one Allah, one Qur’an, but ten people have ten different ways of doing salah. Why don't we stick to the sunnah and Qur'an.? This scholar would attack that, and that would attack this. Their followers fight as if they are Muslims vs Non Muslims. This serious issue makes many of us deviate from the right path bcos our crazy Shaikh is teaching us to hate others.

◉ Ignorance ~ The Prophet says ignorance is a disease, so seek knowledge. Today sadly, 6 out of 10 Muslims learn about the deen from Wikipedia or Some Internet page. So most of those pages are sponsored by Jews and orientalists. So they hardly get the authentic sources. When you tell them to sit in front of an aalim they are either busy with job or too arrogant to sit and learn. You find most of them on the Internet. They are quick to condemn people, but not quick to learn and appreciate others. They don't know, but they don't know they don't know. They think nobody knows, except themselves.

◉ Sectarism ~ Sectarism is one of the hottest topic in Islamic discourse. It denotes the idea that every Muslim must belong to one sect e.g. Sunni, shia, salafi, wahabi, mutazil, sufi etc. None of these are on the right path except those who follow Allah and his messenger. The Messenger predicted their coming in a hadith, which is why he said, my ummah will divide into 72 ropes (sects), only one sect will get to jannah, i.e. The ones that follow my sunnah and the Qur’an. These sects have confused the ummah. They have cast doubt in our minds. But the fact is Who is Muhammad Rasulullah? Was he a Sunni? Or a shia? Or a sufi? Or a salafi? None of the above.. Muhammad was a Muslim. He is a Muslim. Allah says in the Qur’an "Innaddunu Idallahi Al Islam" the only religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. So follow only Islam, the Islam of Muhammad Rasulullah, and Allah, not sufi, or salafi or what have you.

◉ Bad leadership ~ Today our Muslim ummah lacks a centre. We lack leaders. We are eaten like food on the plate. Only a few people such as Edrogon of Turkey speak for Muslims. Our leaders have submitted to the kuffar. They have taken their loans and cars. So they dance to their tone. Today even Saudi Arabia is not representing Muslims, they are just representing the royals and their lavish lives. When the ummah lacks a centre, chaos erupt, people lose focus, things go astray. So this ummah needs leaders, conscious leaders, who love Allah and his messenger.

◉ Terrorism ~ This is the fitnah that destroys the ummah today. Although the word it self is subject to criticism. And many terrorists are just name and tags. Yet, we have them among us. They constitute a very small minority, yet they are powerful and they make impact bcos they can interpret the Qur’an however they like. And our leaders are backing them. We know many governments in the middle East and Asia that are harboring terrorists, giving them money and protection, they kill people in the name of Allah. And they are liars. Allah says to kill one person is as though you have killed the entire human race.

My brothers and sisters, reflect on the above points and make amends. We need to change. But change doesn't start from the top, it starts with us.

May Allah bring this ummah together. May Allah eradicate the bad ones from the good ones. May Allah restore our dignity and respect. May Allah instills love and unity in our hearts. May Allah guide our leaders, may Allah guide us too. May Allah help us wake up from our slumber. Amin ya rabb.

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
