*THE SMALLEST PUNISHMENT OF HELLFIRE*

*Fear Allah, reflect and repent*

*Translation:* 

عن النعمان بن بشير رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول:

*إن أهون أهل النار عذاباً يوم القيامة لرجلٌ يوضع في أخمص قدميه جمرتان يغلي منهما دماغه, ما يرى أن أحداً أشدُّ منه عذاباً, وإنه لأهونهم عذاباً*

Nu'man Ibn Bashir رضي الله عنه said I heard the Prophet ﷺ say _"The person who will receive the least punishment among the people of Hell on the Day Resurrection will be a man, a smoldering ember will be placed under the arch of his foot.  His brains will boil because of it, He will think no one else is being punished more severely than himself, even though he will be the one receiving the lightest punishment."_

[Sahih Muslim]

What about the arrogant? 

What about the polytheists?

This is what the lightest punishment is,

How can we even think we can cope?

_

We all know the danger and the harm that fire can cause,

Its power to destroy!

And that is the fire of this Dunya! 

_

So what about the Fire of the Akhirah?! The same Fire which the Prophet ﷺ said _"It has 70,000 ropes and on every rope, 70,000 angels"_

[Sahih Muslim]

_

The same Fire that the Prophet ﷺ described _""Jahannam was heated for a thousand years and its fire turned red; It was then heated for another thousand years and it became white; it was again heated for another thousand years and it turned black. At present, Jahannam is pitch black and dark."_

[at-Tirmidhi]

_

Oh my Brothers and Sisters! 

Ask yourselves, can anyone of us handle this abode and live this life? 

Of course not! 

_

Don't become lax and arrogant because you're Muslim! 

Bani Isra'eel  did the same! 

*وَقَالُوا۟ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًۭا مَّعْدُودَةًۭ ۚ قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَهْدًۭا فَلَن يُخْلِفَ ٱللَّهُ عَهْدَهُۥٓ ۖ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ*

_And they say "The Fire won't touch us except for a few days"_

_Say "Have you taken a covenant with Allah, so that Allah will not break His covenant, or do you speak about Allah that which you do not know?"_

[2:80]

Try hold your hand over a candle fire ! Can your hand withstand its heat? 

_

So how about trying to withstand such a punishment, that the Embers of Fire boil your brain! 

And not for a 24 hour day, No! Each day is 1000 years long! 

_

May Allah ﷻ  forgive our errs and safe us from the torment if fire.
