In the Year 2015

 *In the Year 2015*

--------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Exactly 10 years ago, one of the graveyard caretakers was asked:

*"Have you ever, during your so many days in a graveyard, observed any astonishing thing?"* He said: *"Yes"*. Only the other day people brought here a body, buried it and went away. After a while, a very foul smell spread the like of which I had never known. Then all of a sudden I saw a terribly horrifying form of a black dog-like animal. The foul smell was emanating from its body. That fearsome form then came nearer and disappeared inside the aforesaid new grave and came out of the said grave after a long time. Then, after a little while, a very sweet and pleasing fragrance began to spread around the like of which also I had never felt in my life. In the mean time, I observed a very handsome form which also approached the aforesaid grave and disappeared inside the aforesaid grave. Anyway, after a few moments, that beautiful shape (form) emerged out of that grave but in a wounded and blood stained condition. I exclaimed: My Lord! Explain to me what is this all that I am observing? Who are these two kinds of forms? Then, that faithful day, (In the state of dreaming) I was informed that the good looking form was that of the good deeds done by the dead person. So also, the ugly form also was of his evil deeds. As the number of bad deeds done by the buried person was bigger than that of his good deeds, the latter (that's - bad deeds) remained with him as his companion in the grave".

No wonder!!!

It was narrated from al-Bara’ ibn ‘Aazib (ra) that the Prophet (pbuh) said: ...... Then there comes to him some of its fragrance, and his grave is made wide, as far as he can see. Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds.’...." 📚Narrated by Ahmad (4/362); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Ahkaam al-Janaa’iz (156).

Muslim Faithful!

All you read above are the wonders of the world of spirits which appear in such forms. This is why we must not take chances of not gathering alot of good deeds like establishing Tahajjud everyday.

But why Tahajjud?

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Swalat. If it is complete, he or she is successful, but if it is defective, he or she has failed. So, if something is deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) then Allah (swt) will say: ‘Look! Are there any voluntary (prayers) for my worshipper?’ So, with them, what was deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) will be completed" 📚(Tirmizi)

Remember that,

The Prophet (pbuh) said: "The  best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.” 📚(Muslim)

Now,

Having read this piece from the beginning, it's going to do us alot of good if we *"kill two birds with one stone"*. Yes. Make Tahajjud a habit so that: (1) Tahajjud will keep you company in your grave EVERYDAY till the day of judgement; (2) On the day of judgement, Tahajjud prayer attract rewards which other voluntary swalat did not (as established in the above hadeeth), and will fill in MORE MISSING GAPS in your obligatory swalah.

Therefore,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats, then, go back to catch up with your sleep) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so.. It's not difficult bcos people are doing it everyday without missing.. It's all about priority!

Allah alone knows best

سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك نشهد ان لا اله الا انت نستغفرك ونتوابوااليك

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

The questions of the grave?

The questions of the grave? Alhamdulillah, every Muslim should have belief that there is questions in the grave. As reported in hadith of the trials of the grave like that of the dajjal Two angels that will appear to. Person, Munkar and Nakir As reported in hadith, It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord isAllah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) told that when the evening came, the prophet (May peace be upon him) would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise b...
