*MUSLIMS MOVE TOWARDS MECCA*

The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) headed for Mecca and when they reached Dhul-Hulaifa, he made the offering and assumed the state of ihrām for offering 'Umrah so that the people of Mecca would know he wanted no fight. He sent a spy of Khuzā'a to get information about Quraish. When he (the Prophet) approached 'Usfān, his spy came and said that Quraish mobilised the Habshis

(They are Arab septs of Kināna and other tribes. They were named after a mountain called 'Hubsheyy' that is six miles away from Mecca. Behind it Banul-Hārith Ibn 'Abd Manāf Ibn Kināna, Banu Al-Mustaliq, Al-Haya Ibn Sa'ad Ibn 'Umar and Banu Al-Hun Ibn Khazīma assembled and allied with Quraish to combat their enemy all together.)

and many troops to fight and prevent the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) from the Sacred House. The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) consulted with his Companions about a decision they should take and said: "What do you think if we take the children and women of those who collided with Quraish captive? If they kept their ground, they would stay grieved and sorry. If they escape, this would be necks that Allāh decreed to be cut off. Or do you want to go straight towards the Sacred House and fight those who prevent us from it?" Abu Bakr said: "Allāh and His Messenger know best. We came merely to perform 'Umrah, not to combat anyone. But I see that we should fight anyone who prevents us from the Sacred House." The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) replied: "So move on."

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
