*Episode 24*
*MARRIAGE NEEDS TRANSPARENCY*
When lies and deception start to surface in your marriage, then it is a matter of time before it gets destroyed. One aspect of transparency that I like to talk about is the issue of seek and hide between married couples. Meaning, one of them is doing something shady or even haram (unlawful) but they are hiding it. Take for instance, couple who use passwords on every App and folder on their mobile phone is an indication that something fishy is going on. Perhaps, not all cases are like that. Some use passwords for security reasons. Excessive night calls with anonymous people is another issue. Sometimes one cannot even keep their phone on the table, because they know exactly what will happen when they do. Now with advent of new technologies on mobile, some couples run two phones in one phone. They have two Facebook, two Instagram, to everything. They use Apps like Parallel space to clone their phones.
Brothers and sisters, if you are truely transparent, why go this extra mile to impose this sanctions on your phone? If you want to have peace and rest of mine, as well as suspicion free marriage. Then live a free life. Don't hide anything. Allow your spouse to use your phone sometimes. Let them understand that you have nothing to hide. But the moment they notice thise stuffs on your phone, that is the beginning of trouble. If all couples were to be transparent in their marriage most problems would have been solved without bloodshed. Transparency is such an important component in marriage. And it is part of Ibadah to be transparent with one another as clearly stated in the Glorious Qur-ān chapter 8: verse 27.
*{To be continued In-sha-Allāh (If Allāh Wills)...}*
*"And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."* (Qur-ān 51:55)
