*Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage*
*Episode 19*
*MEN WHO ARE SHY TO SHOW THEIR WIVES*
It is indeed dramatic to see a couple 👫 walking together, one in front and the other behind. Mostly the husband is in front. At times the mother is behind with the kids, if no kids, she walks alone. The husband feels disgusting about her. He feels ashame to show her as his wife. In the shopping malls you see him at one corner hiding, while she is busy pushing the trolley 🛒. So sad.
So what these happen?
1. Maybe bcos he doesn't love her.
2. Maybe bcos they fight a lot.
3. Maybe bcos she doesn't look good.
4. Maybe bcos she smells bad, or she is not neat.
5. Maybe bcos she is not beautiful.
So, if all the above happen to be the reason, then how about these:
1. If he doesn't love her then why continue torturing her, bcos that isolation hurts.
2. If it is bcos they fight a lot, then why not take heart and do as you are instructed by Allah, to have patience and tolerance.
3. If she doesn't look good, then it means you have failed her, bcos you are her keeper, you should take care of her more than anything. So you are unjust to her.
4. If she smells bad or does not look neat, then again, that's your fault. Every responsible husband takes good care of his wife. Allah says in the Quran, be kind and generous to them. So now, you are disobeying Allah for not taking care of her and for torturing her.
5. If truly she isn't beautiful, then why marry her in the first place? Also, did she create herself? Did you create your self? If you think she is not worthy, then why are you sleeping with her? Since you agreed she isn't beautiful, then let her be. Why marry her?
Dear brothers, wallahi it hurts when you clearly show your wife how much you dislike her. It affects her psychologically, morally and physically. She suffes from depression, anxiety, distress and even illnesses. You took her away from her parents, promised to take care of her, yet you failed to. Wallahi, remember these words. Allah will question you and when you are questioned, you will not survive. For surely you will be a food for the hellfire. Allah says he is just, and he loves justice. In another verse Allah says, he is just and he hates injustice.
