*ADVICE TO MARRIED WOMEN*
We men are naturally selfish. Especially some Muslim men. We always take advantage of our religion to subjugate our women. Even though our religion has explicitly explained how everyone's rights should be respected. Yet, some men would always use religion to oppress their wives and even daughters. When it comes to social welfare, Muslim women are always behind. Husband uses religion to stop her from earning, or attending school, some even Islamic school. All because he wants to use her welfare as a bargaining chip. When he wants to punish her he denies her welfare. Some men even believe that giving women what they want is always dangerous, especially in terms of finance. So they deliberately block any access she has to earn. Some men when their wife earns they stop all form of assistance including feeding. They believe she can take care of herself since she works. Some men would even use their power to stop her from accessing her income by asking her to stop the job or business. And in the end, they can never stand up for wives. So when they die or fall, the wife become poor and miserable.
So what is the way out?🤔
The way out is to stand up for yourself. Whether he likes it or not. But, be mindful of what is haram (unlawful) and halal (lawful). You cannot cross the limits. There are many ways you can earn. You can run a small business, you can make or produce things from home and send them to market. I have seen lots of women produce stuff then send it to a supermarket and get it sold there. Some go to work or create the work. You have a degree and you are jobless, find a neighbour where you can be teaching their kids and get paid. Or make a lesson or tuition centre in your own home where children will be learning and paying. At least get something to do. Wallahi we are in difficult times. Do not allow yourself to be disrespected for something you can solve if you try. Today most men who come home pretending to be angry are doing so because they don't want to be asked money. Note that Not everything is asked from a husband especially if he is the type that is stingy. So make way for yourself. Get something to do. Don't be dependent, be an independent woman. By doing so you earn yourself a respect. Try it.
