The importance of taqwa
Alhamdulillah, At taqwa means precaution or care.
It came from taqaah meaning beware
Taqwa is the basis of everything and a person cannot earn taqwa without Eeman.
The more the Eeman, the more the taqwa.
The prophet pbuh said,
Allah does not look at your bodies and your wealth but he looks at your actions and intentions.
Sahih.
And taqwa is in the breast and if it is exposed and come out, it comes out as actions confirms it.
As reported,
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Don't nurse grudge and don't bid him out for raising the price and don't nurse aversion or enmity and don't enter into a transaction when the others have entered into that transaction and be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. The piety is here, (and while saying so) he pointed towards his chest thrice. It is a serious evil fora Muslim that he should look down upon his brother Muslim. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for his brother in faith: his blood, his wealth and his honour.
Sahih Muslim 2564.
Taqwa is shari'ah means to do what Allah commands us and to abstain from his prohibitions whether secretly or publicly. To have conscious of Allah always
That is taqwa.
Just like ka'b ibn ubayy r.a was asked about taqwa and said it is when person is passing in a thorny forest and he raises his cloth so as not to be prick by the thorn of the plants
That is taqwa
Being careful of sins and evil among peoples.
