*Visiting the Sick*
[[--Part One 1️⃣-- ]]------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
“Islam is a way of Life” and hence anything you do in the prescribed way of life is a good deed and the amazing part is that anything that you save yourself from which is not the way of Life of a Muslim is also a Good Deed.
SubhaanAllah!
Allah has blessed us with this beautiful religion with the ideal role model in our Beloved Prophet (PBUH).. And having a good character and performing good deeds is so important in Islam.
*Visiting The Sick (Ziyara Al-Marid):*
It is a Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) to visit the sick. We should always visit those who are sick because it helps us to reflect and take heed, as those who are ill are close to Allah Ta'ala. We have only to consider that the sick person has no one to call but Allah, nothing to reflect on but Allah, and his condition reminds us of the blessing of health.
But,
Today, unfortunately, some Muslims do not even perform the minimum, using excuses like “I’m too busy,” or “I’ll ask about them on the phone,” or “I don’t like going to hospitals,” or “It’s a long drive!” etc.... Habbah!!!.. What we fail to remember is that someone who is going through a health low is probably bored from sitting in bed all day, needs a psychological boost, and needs to be surrounded by people who care. So, believe it or not, you’ll be doing them a favor by paying them a visit.
Servants of Allah!
Below is a hadith Qudsi (hadith Qudsi are from Allah, revealed in a dream or through revelation and expressed in Prophet Muhammad's own words):
“Allah (swt) will say on the Day of Judgment, *‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’* He will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’ 📚(Saheeh Muslim)
